1. चुदर मणि कुज़्हयुम्, मलर करथु उज़्हयुम्, थुम्बिगल् इदि इदि नुज़्हयुम्,
थुम्बि मलिकयुं, वंबुवर जदयुं, थुण्ड वेन पिरयुं, मुन्नूलुं,
नदन पन्गयमुं, किरण कन्कनमुम्, नन्गै पन्गु अमर्न्थ सुन्दरमुं,
नयनं मून्द्रु उदय कोलमुं कन्दोर नमनयुं कन वल्लवरो ?
कोदि पाल थोदुथ नेदीय ममनि पोर गोपुरं परिदं थोदुथु,
ख़ोज़्हुन्दु वित्तु येज़्हुन्धु वन निलवु येरिप्प कोन्दल् वनदु उलविये निलवुं,
कादि मलर थादमुं सुरुथि ओथिदमुं कन्नी मदमुं चूज़्ह्न्दु,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थाथ्परणे.
2. थान्दमुं, कयिरुं, सोलमुं पुगैन्थ थज़्हल् उमिज़्ह कन्गलुं वलैन्थ,
थान्थमुं, सिवन्थ कुन्जियुं, क्रिया सयिलमे अन्य मेनियुमै,
अनदिना सामानि कन्दु उल्लं मयङ्गी अरिवु अज़्हिन्दु इरु विज़्हिगलुम् पन्जु,
अदैन्थु वय पुलर्न्थु मेय मरन्थिदुं पोधु, अम्बिकै थान्नुदन वरुव्य,
वन्दुगल् मुरन्द्रु मुगै मुरुक्कु उदैन्थु, मधु मज़्है पोज़्हिन्धु, थथु अलैन्थु,
मदल विरिथु अलन्थु पोन निरं पोथिन्थ मनराल अं कोन्द्रै वर चदैय्य,
कन्दवर उलमुं कन्नुमे कवरुं गण धन वनिथयर नेरुन्गुं,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थार्परणे.
3. धनपथि निगर्य चेल्वमे पेरिनेउम्, सथमकान भोगमे पेरिनेउम्,
धरणी चुमक्कुं छेदने निगर्य थाक्कथोर अरिवु येल्लं पेरिनेउम्,
अनन्गणै निगर्य अज़्हगु थान पेरिनेउम्, अरुमरै किज़्हवन् नेर उरिनुं,
इय्य, निन कदैक्कान अरुल् थावरिय पेर अम्कै ओदु येन्थि निन्द्रु उज़्हल्वर्,
पण कन्गनत्है, अलप्परुं गुणत्है, पर्वथि वाम बगत्है,
पवल नल निरैन्थ्य, ठवल थूलिथथ्य, परि पुरं अलम्बु पोर पदथ्य,
कनगमुं थुगिरुं थारलवुं वयिर कलन्गलुं नीलं थोरुं मिदैन्थ,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थार्परणे.
4. थान्धयै, मनायै, ओक्कलै, थुनायै, थयि, मेन कुदलै वय चेयै,
थानत्है, योउवनत्है, इन्ब मोहनत्है, थैयल् नल्लर पेरुं थानत्है,
अन्धियुं पगलुं विरुम्बी मेय चोम्भि आज़्ह कदर पदु थुरुम्भु आगि,
ऌअकज़्हिन्धेनै पुल्कप्पदा थिरुथि आत कोल निनैथिल्य अन्द्रो ?
चिन्त्है नैन्थुरुग इन्निसै पदिथु चिलंभु ओली आरवे नदिथु,
छेज़्हुम् पुनल् चदि मेल करन्थायै मुदिथु थिरु वेनीरु उदल येलं वदिथु,
कन्द्है कोवनं थोल् पोक्कानां थाङ्गी कपालं ओन्द्रु येन्धि निन्द्रवने,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थार्परणे.
5. वञ्चग किनर्य, थुनब वरिधिय्य, वरुमै येन्पोअथर्क्कु इरुपिदम्य,
मरम पोथि कुतिल्य, असथिय विथय्य, मयल विलै कज़्हनियय्, पव,
संचिथ वदिव्य, चरुचरै पुराम्य, संगद नोय कलन्जियाम्य,
थलि थादुमरि थिर्युं येन्थनुक्कु उन थन अली किदैक्कुमो ?अरियेन,
नन्जं उन पगुव्य कदिकै मूल येयिथु, नकै मणि पान्थल् अं चूज़्ह्न्ध,
नलिर इलं पिरयुं, मिलिर चेज़्हुम् चादाय, नान्गयर मुज़्हु मथि मुगत्है,
कन्जमेन मलर्गल् कन्दु वाय ओदुन्गुं, कन्धं उन्धिय तदं चूज़्हुम्,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थार्परणे.
6. बिरमनुं चलिक्क, थयर चन्जैक्क, पेथयर कन्दु असन्गैक्क,
पिनिगलुं पगैक्क, मूपु वन्धु अलैक्क, पिन थोदर्न्थु आसि चेन्द्रु इज़्हुक्क,
थारुमनुं वेरुक्क, नरकवुं ओरुक्क थाराणि चुमन्थु नोन्धु इलैक्क,
चकदु येन चुज़्हलुम् करन्गु येन कोदीय सदलमे येदुक्क नान इलक्को ?
कुरु मणि इमैक्कुं पुदु मलर थादथिल् कूत्तिलं मोत्तु ममेथि,
कुलन्गल् पोय पदिन्थु नालं किलर चेज़्हुन्थेन् कुवलै मेन्द्रु उज़्हक्किय थोत्तं,
क्रिया मकदलिल् पुगुन्थु नीर अरुन्थुं कला मेगन्गलो येन्ल्य,
कन वलं चिरन्थ कदवै अम्पथिय्य, कलनै कय्न्थ थार्परणे.
7. मरुगु वें चिनथर थेरून अवगुनथर वञ्चगं पोथिन्थ नेन्चगथर,
वज़्हक्कम् ओन्द्रु इलल पज़्हक्करुम् मूदर मथि इला पथिथर पाल अनुगी,
पोरुमयिल् थरुमान, नेरियिनिल् चेतन, पुलंयिल् कुरिय ममुनिवान,
पुरन्धरान येनावुं निरन्थरं पुगज़्ह्न्दु पोज़्हुदु अवम पोक्किनेन, अन्धो,
वेरी मलर पिरसं चोरिन्थु वनदु इनंगल् मिदैन्थु ममुकिलिणै किज़्हिथु,
मेल इदथु इरवि पोअसुं पुरविगल्य विलन्गिये विन थल मुगत्तै,
ख़ज़्हुवि निन्द्रु ऊङ्गी चेरियुं इय्न्धरुवुल् कर्पग थारुविणै ओप्पै,

8. नेन्जकं कुज़्हैन्धु, पाणि विदैक्कु इसैन्थु, नीरोदु कन्दिकै पुनैन्थु,
निलवु पोर्कोइल् आदि वलं पुरिन्थु, नेगिज़्हुम् मुञ् नाल मलर येदुथु,
वञ्चमा मयक्किल् मयक्कुं इय्म्पुलनां मत्थालर वलिमैयै कवर्न्थु उन,
मलर पदथु इरुथि, अलक्कणै थुरथि, मथि मिगु वज़्ह्वु अलिथिदुं “ॐ,
“जूं स “, येनुं नल थूय मून्द्रु एज़्हुथै सुकिर्धम्य कोण्डु अर्चनणै चेय,
थोन्दर्गल् उरवै कोण्डु उनै पानीय कनक्कानां, येनाक्कु अरुल् पुरिवाय,
काञ्चमेन मलर मीथु अन्जं मेय पसक्क कर मयिल् ओगरम्य नदिक्कुं,

मणि नगै पेरुक्की, आसि उन्दक्की, वलर इळा मूलै थुगिल् इरुक्की,
पाककल वन्धु अमर्न्थु, मेन मोज़्हि पगर्न्धु, परवासं पोल मेल विज़्हुन्दु,
पदि (रु ) उलं उनार्न्थे असथियं उरैथु पर्थिदा कुरिथ पवयर ककय,
दुख सगरथिल् अज़्हुन्धि नाल थोरुं थोथा पत्ता पदकणै,
थुय्य चेन्कमल चेय्यथल् इनैक्के, थोण्डु कोन्दल् कुरै उरुमो ?
कै कज़्हन्गदुम् थिरथिणै निगर्य कमलमेन मलर मिसिं अरुकार,

10. चेयल् पाणि विदय्य चेप्पल् इय्न्थु एज़्हुथय्, थिर्थाले वलं पुरिथलुम्य,
चिन्थयिन निनैवे ध्यनंय, उन्दु थेवित्तल् निवेधन चिरप्प्य,
थुयिरल् वन्धनय्य, थिरु उल्कथु उवान्थु थुल्लु वेल विदि मेल येरी,
थोन्दरुं विसुम्बिल् अन्दरुं कन थोगयोदु येनाक्कु वन्धु अरुल्व्य.
वयल वरम्बु उरिथ कदैसियर मुखत्है मथीयं येन्द्रु अथिसयं मिगुन्धु,
वरुं पाकल इदथुं इरविनुं कुवलै वाय ओदुन्गमले विलन्गुं,
कयल नेदुं थादमुं कमुकमुं कमुकै कत्तिय कन्नलुं पोधिन्थ,

1. చుదర్ మని కుజ్హయుం, మలర్ కారతు ఉజ్హయుం, తుమ్బిగల్ ఇది ఇది నుజ్హయుం,
తుంబి మలికయుం, వంబువార్ జడయుం, తుండ వెన్ పిరయుం, మున్నూలుం,
నాదన పంగాయముం, కిరానా కంకనముం, నంగి పంగు అమరంత సుందరముం,
నయనం మూండ్రు ఉదయ కొలముం కన్దోర్ నమనయుం కాన వల్లవరో ?
కోడి పల తోడుత నేదియ మామని పోర్ గోపురం పరిడం తోడుతూ,
కొజ్హుందు విత్తు ఎజ్హుందు వాన్ నిలవు ఎరిప్ప కొండల వండు ఉలవియే నిలవుం,
కాడి మలర్ తడముం సురుతి ఒతిదముం కన్ని మదముం చూజ్హ్న్డు,
కాన వలం చిరంత కదవై అమ్పతియి, కలని కింత తత్పరనే.
2. తన్దముం, కయిరుం, సోలముం పుగింత తజ్హళ్ ఉమిజ్హ కంగాలుం వలింత,
తన్తముం, సివంత కున్జియుం, క్రియ సయిలమే అన్య మేనియుమై,
అందిన సమాని కందు ఉల్లం మింగి అరివు అజ్హిండు ఇరు విజ్హిగాలుం పంజు,
అడింతు వి పులర్న్తు మీ మరంతిడుం పోదు, అమ్బికై తన్నుదన్ వరువాయ్,
వండుగల్ మురండ్రు ముగి మురుక్కు ఉదైంతు, మధు మజ్హి పోజ్హిందు, తతు అలింతు,
మాడల్ విరితు అలంతు పోన్ నిరం పోతింత మంరాల్ అం కొందరి వార్ చదియి,
కందవార్ ఉలముం కన్నుమే కవరుం గణ ధన వనితయర్ నేరున్గుం,
కాన వలం చిరంత కదవై అమ్పతియి, కలని కింత తర్పరనే.
3. ధనపతి నిగారి చెల్వమే పెరినెఉమ్, సతమకన్ భోగమే పెరినెఉమ్,
ధరణి చుమక్కుం చేడనే నిగారి తక్కతోర్ అరివు ఎల్లం పెరినెఉమ్,
అనంగానై నిగారి అజ్హగు తాన్ పెరినెఉమ్, అరుమరై కిజ్హవన్ నేర ఊరినుం,
ఇయ్య, నిన్ కడైక్కన్ ఆరుళ్ తవరియ పేర అమ్కి ఓడు ఎన్తి నిందరు ఉజ్హల్వర్,
పాన కంగానతై, అలప్పరుం గునతై, పార్వతి వామ బాగాతై,
పవల్ నల నిరైన్తాయ్, తవల తూలితతాయ్, పరి పురం అలంబు పోర్ పడతి,
కనగాముం తుగిరుం తరలవుం వయిర కలన్గాలుం నిలం తోరుం మిదింత,

4. తనదయి, మనయై, ఒక్కలి, తునయై, తాయి, మెన్ కూడలి వి చేయి,
తనతి, యౌవనతై, ఇంబ మొహనతై, తియాల్ నల్లర్ పేరుం తనతి,
అందియుం పగలుం విరుమ్బి మీ చోమ్భి ఆజ్హ కాడర్ పడు తురుమ్భు ఆగి,
అలకజ్హిందేనై పుల్కప్పద తిరుతి ఆట కోలా నినైతిలి అందరో ?
చింతి నైన్తురుగా ఇన్నిసి పదితూ చిలంభు ఒలి అ ఆరవే నడితు,
చేజ్హుం పునల్ చది మేల్ కరంతయై ముదితు తిరు వేనీరు ఉదాల్ ఎలం వదితు,
కంది కోవనం తొల పోక్కనం తంగి కపాలం ఒండ్రు ఏంది నిన్ద్రవనే,

5. వంచగా కినారే, తుంబ వరిదియి, వరుమై యెన్పొఅథర్క్కు ఇరుపిదమాయ్,
మారం పోతి కుటిలి, అసతియ వితయి, మాయల విలి కజ్హనియి, పవ,
సంచిత వాడివి, చరుచరై పురామి, సంగడ నోయ కలన్జియామి,
తలై తడుమారి తిర్యుం ఎంతనుక్కు ఉన్ తన అలీ కిడైక్కుమో ?అరిఎన్,
నంజం ఉన్ పగువాయ్ కాడికి ముళ్ ఎయితు, నాకై మని పాన్తాల్ అం చూజ్హ్న్ద,
నలిర్ ఇలాం పిరయుం, మిలిర్ చేజ్హుం చదయ, నంగయర్ ముజ్హు మతి ముగాతై,
కన్జమేనా మలర్గల్ కందు వే ఒడున్గుం, కందం ఉందియ తడం చూజ్హుం,

6. బిరమనుం చలిక్క, తయార్ చంజైక్క, పెతయర్ కందు అసంగైక్క,
పినిగాలుం పగిక్క, మూపు వందు అలిక్క, పిన్ తోదర్న్తు ఆసి చెందరు ఇజ్హుక్క,
తరుమనుం వేరుక్క, నరకవుం ఒరుక్క తరాని చుమంతు నొందు ఇలైక్క,
చకడు యేన చుజ్హలుం కరంగు యేన కొడియ సదలమే ఎడుక్క నాన్ ఇలక్కో ?
కురు మని ఇమైక్కుం పుదు మలర్ తడతిల్ కూట్టిలం మొట్టు మమేతి,
కులంగల్ పోయ్ పాడింతు నాలం కిలర్ చేజ్హున్తేన్ కువలై మెండ్రు ఉజ్హక్కియ తొట్టం,
క్రియ మకదలిల్ పుగుంతు నీర్ అరున్తుం కల మేగంగలో ఎనలే,

7. మరుగు వెం చినతార్ తెరున్ అవగునతార్ వంచాగం పోతింత నేన్చాగాతార్,
వజ్హక్కం ఒండ్రు ఇళ్ళ పజ్హక్కరుం మూదర్ మతి ఇలా పతితార్ పాల్ అనుగి,
పోరుమయిల్ తరుమన్, నేరియినిల్ చేతన్, పులమయిల్ కురియ మమునివన్,
పురంధరాన్ ఎనవుం నిరంతరం పుగాజ్హ్న్డు పోజ్హుడు అవం పోక్కినేన్, అందో,
వేరి మలర్ పిరసం చోరింతు వండు ఇనంగల్ మిడైంతు మముకిలినై కిజ్హితు,
మేల్ ఇదాతు ఇర్వి పోఅసుం పురవిగాలీ విలన్గియే విన్ తల ముగాట్టై,
కజ్హువి నిందరు ఊంగి చేరియుం ఇయ్న్ధరువుల్ కర్పగ తరువినై ఒప్పై,

8. నేన్జకం కుజ్హిందు, పని విడైక్కు ఇసైంతు, నీరోడు కందికి పునైంతు,
నిలవు పోర్కొయిల్ అది వలం పురింతు, నేగిజ్హుం మున్ నాల్ మలర్ ఎడుతూ,
వంచమా మయక్కిల్ మయక్కుం ఇయ్మ్పులనాం మత్తలర్ వలిమియై కవర్న్తు ఉన్,
మలర్ పడతు ఇరుతి, అలక్కనై తుర్తి, మతి మిగు వజ్హ్వు అలితిడుం “ఓం,
“జూమ్ స “, యేనుం నల తూయ మూండ్రు ఎజ్హుతై సుకిర్ధమాయ్ కొందు అర్చననై చెయ్,
తొందర్గల్ ఉరవై కొందు ఉనాయి పనియ కనక్కానాం, ఎనక్కు ఆరుళ్ పురివాయ్,
కంచమేన్ మలర్ మీతు అన్జం మీ పసక్క కర్ మయిల్ ఒగారమాయ్ నడిక్కుం,

9. మైక్కయాల్ విజ్హియాల్ మయక్కి, ఉల్ ఉరుక్కి, మంజలాల్ ముగాతినై మినుక్కి,
మని నగి పెరుక్కి, ఆసి ఉండక్కి, వలర్ ఇలా ములై తుగిల్ ఇరుక్కి,
పక్కల్ వందు అమర్న్తు, మెన్ మోజ్హి పగర్న్దు, పరవశం పోలా మేల్ విజ్హుండు,
పది (ఋ ) ఉలం ఉనర్న్తే అసతియం ఉరైతు పరితిడ కురిత పవయర్ క్కి,
దుఃఖ సాగరతిల్ అజ్హుంది నాల్ తోరుం తొత పట్టా పడకని,
తుయ్య చెంకమల చేయ్యతాల్ ఇనైక్కే, తొండు కొండల కురి ఉరుమో ?
కై కజ్హన్గాడుం తిరతినై నిగారి కమలమేన్ మలర్ మిసిం అరుకార్,
కలిప్పాలి చుజ్హలుం కదవై అమ్పతియి, కలని కింత తత్పరనే.
10. చేయాల్ పని విడయి చెప్పల ఇయ్న్తు ఎజ్హుతాయ్, తిరితలే వలం పురితలుమి,
చిన్తయిన్ నినైవే ధ్యానామి, ఉండు తేవిత్తల్ నివేదన చిరప్పాయ్,
తుయిరాల్ వందనయి, తిరు ఉల్కతు ఉవంతు తుల్లు వెల్ విడి మేల్ ఏరి,
తొందరుం విసుమ్బిల్ అందరుం కాన తోగాయోడు ఎనక్కు వందు అరుల్వి.
వాయల్ వరంబు ఉరిత కడైసియర్ ముఖతై మతియం ఎందరు అతిశయం మిగుందు,
వరుం పాకల్ ఇదాతుం ఇరవినుం కువలై వే ఒడున్గామలె విలంగుం,
కాయల్ నేడుం తడముం కముకముం కముకై కట్టియ కన్నలుం పోదింత,
కాన వలం చిరంత కదవై అమ్పతియి, కలని కింత తర్పరనే.

1. சுடர் மணி குழையும், மலர் கறது உழையும், தும்பிகள் இடை இடை நுழையும்,
தும்பை மாளிகையும், வம்புவர் சடையும், துண்ட வெண் பிறையும், முந்நூலும்,
நடன பங்கயமும், கிறன கங்கணமும், நங்கை பங்கு அமர்ந்த சுந்தரமும்,
நயனம் மூன்று உடைய கோலமும் கண்டோர் நமனையும் காண வல்லவரோ ?
கோடி பல தொடுத்த நெடிய மாமணி போர் கோபுரம் பரிடம் தொடுத்து,
கொழுந்து விட்டு எழுந்து வான் நிலவு எரிப்ப கொண்டால் வண்டு உலவியே நிலவும்,
கடி மலர் தடமும் சுருதி ஒதிடமும் கன்னி மடமும் சூழ்ந்து,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தத்பரனே.
2. தண்டமும், கயிறும், சோளமும் புகைந்த தழல் உமிழ் கண்களும் வளைந்த,
தந்தமும், சிவந்த குஞ்சியும், கரிய சிலமே அனைய மேனியுமை,
அண்டின சமனை கண்டு உள்ளம் மயங்கி அறிவு அழிந்து இரு விழிகளும் பஞ்சு,
அடைந்து வாய் புலர்ந்து மெய் மறந்திடும் பொது, அம்பிகை தன்னுடன் வருவாய்,
வண்டுகள் முரன்று முகை முறுக்கு உடைந்து, மது மழை பொழிந்து, தாது அலைந்து,
மடல் விரித்து அளந்து பொன் நிறம் பொதிந்த மன்றல் அம கொன்றை வர சடையை,
கண்டவர் உளமும் கண்ணுமே கவரும் கன தன வனிதையர் நெருங்கும்,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
3. தனபதி நிகராய் செல்வமே பெரினஐம், சதமகன் போகமே பெரினஐம்,
தரணி சுமக்கும் சேடனே நிகராய் தக்கதோர் அறிவு எல்லாம் பெரினஐம்,
அனங்கனை நிகராய் அழகு தான் பெரினஐம், அருமறை கிழவன் நேர் உறினும்,
யா, நின் கடைக்கண் அருள் தவறிய பேர் அம்கை ஓடு ஏந்தி நின்று உழல்வார்,
பண கங்கணத்தை, அளப்பரும் குணத்தை, பார்வதி வம பக்கத்தை,
பவல் நல நிறைந்தாய், தவள தூளிதத்ய, பரி புறம் அலம்பு போர் படத்தை,
கனகமும் துகிரும் தரளவும் வயிர கலங்களும் நிலம் தோறும் மிடைந்த,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
4. தந்தையை, மனை, ஒக்கலை, துணையை, தயை, மென் குடலை வாய் சேயை,
தனத்தை, யௌவனத்தை, இன்ப மோகனத்தை, தையல் நல்லார் பெரும் தனத்தை,
அந்தியும் பகலும் விரும்பி மெய் சொம்பிய் ஆழ் கதர் படு துரும்பு ஆகி,
அழகழிந்தேனை புல்கப்பட திருத்தி ஆட கோல நினைத்திலே அன்றோ ?
சிந்தை நைந்துருக இன்னிசை படித்து சிலம்பு ஒழி ஆறவே நடித்து,
செழும் புனல் சடை மேல் கரந்தை முடித்து திரு வேநீறு உடல் ஏழாம் வடித்து,
கந்தை கோவணம் தோல் பொக்கணம் தங்கி கபாலம் ஒன்று ஏந்தி நின்றவனே,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
5. வஞ்சக கிணறாய், துன்ப வாரிதியை, வறுமை என்போதர்க்கு இருப்பிடமே,
மரம் பொதி குடிலை, அசாத்திய விதையை, மையல் விலை கழனியை, பவ,
சஞ்சித வடிவாய், சருச்சரை புறமி, சங்கட நோய் கலந்ஜியமி,
தலை தடுமாறி திரயும் எந்தனுக்கு உன் தன அலி கிடைக்குமோ ?அறியேன்,
நஞ்சம் உன் பகுவாய் கடிகை முள் யேயிது, நகை மணி பாந்தள் அம சூழ்ந்த,
நளிர் இளம் பிறையும், மிளிர் செழும் சடைய, நங்கையர் முழு மதி முகத்தை,
கஞ்சமென மலர்கள் கண்டு வாய் ஒடுங்கும், கந்தம் உந்திய தடம் சூழும்,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
6. பிரமனும் சலிக்க, தயார் சந்ஜைக்க, பேதையர் கண்டு அசந்கைக்க,
பிணிகளும் பகைக்க, மூப்பு வந்து அழைக்க, பின் தொடர்ந்து ஆசை சென்று இழுக்க,
தருமனும் வெறுக்க, நரகவும் ஒருக்கா தாரணி சுமந்து நொந்து இளைக்க,
சகடு என சுழலும் கறங்கு என கொடிய சடலமே எடுக்க நான் இலக்கோ ?
குறு மணி இமைக்கும் புது மலர் தடத்தில் கூட்டிலம் மொட்டு மமேதி,
குளங்கள் போய் படிந்து நலம் கிழார் செழுந்தேன் குவளை மென்று உழக்கிய தோட்டம்,
கரிய மாகடலில் புகுந்து நீர் அருந்தும் கல மேகங்களோ என்லாய்,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
7. மறுகு வெம் சிந்தர் தெருன் அவகுநாதர் வஞ்சகம் பொதிந்த நெஞ்சகதர்,
வழக்கம் ஒன்று இல்ல பழக்கரும் மூடர் மதி இலா பதித்தார் பால் அணுகி,
பொறுமையில் தருமன், நெறியினில் சேடன், புலமையில் குரிய மாமுனிவன்,
புரந்தரன் எனவும் நிரந்தரம் புகழ்ந்து பொழுது அவம் போக்கினேன், அந்தோ,
வெறி மலர் பிரசம் சொரிந்து வண்டு இனம்கள் மிடைந்து மமுகிலினை கிழித்து,
மேல் இடது இரவி போசும் புரவிகளி விளங்கியே வின் தல முகட்டை,
கழுவி நின்று ஓங்கி சேரியும் இய்ந்தருவில் கற்பக தருவினை ஒப்பி,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
8. நெஞ்சகம் குழைந்து, பனி விடைக்கு இசைந்து, நீரோடு கண்டிகை புனைந்து,
நிலவு பொற்கோயில் ஆடை வளம் புரிந்து, நெகிழும் முன் நாள் மலர் எடுத்து,
வஞ்சமா மயக்கில் மயக்கும் இய்ம்புலனாம் மட்தலர் வலிமையை கவர்ந்து உன்,
மலர் படாது இறுதி, அளக்கனை துரத்தி, மதி மிகு வாழ்வு அளித்திடும் “ஓம்,
“ஜூம் ச “, எனும் நல தூய மூன்று எழுத்தை சுகிர்தமாய் கொண்டு அர்ச்சணனை சே,
தொண்டர்கள் உறவை கொண்டு உன்னை பணிய கணக்கானாம், எனக்கு அருள் புரிவாய்,
கஞ்சமென் மலர் மீது அஞ்சம் மெய் பாசக்க கற் மயில் ஒகரமே நடிக்கும்,
காண வளம் சிறந்த கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தற்பரனே.
9. மைக்கயல் விழியால் மயக்கி, உல் உருக்கி, மஞ்சளால் முகத்தினை மினுக்கி,
மணி நகை பெருக்கி, ஆசை உண்டாக்கி, வளர் இல முளை துகில் இறுக்கி,
பாக்கள் வந்து அமர்ந்து, மென் மொழி பகர்ந்து, பரவசம் போல மேல் விழுந்து,
படி (ரூ ) உளம் உணர்ந்தே அசாத்தியம் உரைத்து பறித்திட குறித்த பாவையர் கே,
டுக்ஹா சகரத்தில் அழுந்தி நாள் தோறும் தொத பட்ட பாடகனை,
துய்ய செங்கமல செய்யதல் இணைக்கே, தொண்டு கொண்டால் குறை உரமோ ?
கை கழன்கடும் திறத்தினை நிகராய் கமலமென் மலர் மிசஐம் அருகார்,
களிப்பலி சுழலும் கடவை அம்பதியை, கலனை காய்ந்த தத்பரனே.
10. செயல் பனி விடையை சேப்பல் இயந்து எழுதி, திரிதலே வளம் புரிதளுமி,
சிந்தையின் நினைவே த்யனமி, உண்டு தெவிட்டல் நிவேதன சிறப்பாய்,
துயிறல் வந்தனையை, திரு உலகத்து உவந்து துள்ளு வேல் விடை மேல் ஏறி,
தொண்டரும் விசும்பில் அண்டரும் காண தொகையோடு எனக்கு வந்து அருள்வாய்.
வயல் வரம்பு உரைத்த கடைசியர் முக்ஹதை மதியம் என்று அதிசயம் மிகுந்து,
வரும் பகல் இடத்தும் இரவினும் குவளை வாய் ஒடுங்கமலே விளங்கும்,
கயல் நெடும் தடமும் கமுகமும் கமுகை கட்டிய கன்னலும் பொதிந்த,

1. Those who see the form of Lord with shining gem studded ear globes,
With hands holding a deer, with garland of thumbai* flowers frequented by bees,
With long hair with pleasant aroma, with the crescent, with sacred thread,
With lotus feet in dancing pose, with shining armlets,
With the prettiness of the lady occupying half his body and with three eyes,
Will they ever be able to see the God of death ?
Oh pretty Lord who killed the God of death and presides over the great Thirukadayur
With gem studded homes similar to golden spires touching the sky with lot of flags,
With the bright moon touching the wandering rich black clouds
With ponds full of flowers, with Vedas being chanted day and night,
And with big buildings in which lot of maids live and with all things in plenty .

2. When the lord of death with Dandayudha in his hand along with a rope and trident,
With eyes spitting fire and with body similar to a big black mountain,
Comes towards me, my mind will get frozen, my intelligence would be destroyed,
My eyes become not able to see as if it is covered by a piece of cotton,
My mouth would become dry and when my soul is about to leave the body,
Please come to me along with the Goddess and shower your grace.
Oh pretty Lord who killed the God of death, who wears over his long hair,
The golden coloured konrai* flowers, which due to the dash of bees
While it was opening are coated with honey and pollen grains, and
Oh God who presides over the great Thirukadayur, which is full of ladies with heavy breasts,
Attracting the mind and eyes of those who see them and which has plenty of all wealth.

3. Even if one has wealth as much as Lord of wealth,
Even if one were to enjoy the pleasures like Indra with one hundred eyes,
Even if one has wisdom of Adhisesha who supports the earth,
Even if one has the prettiness of Adonis, Even if one has all rights like a Veda chanting Brahmin,
Oh Lord if one does not get the grace of your side long glance,
He would keep on wandering, begging with a alms bowl in hand.
Oh Lord with snake bangles, Oh Lord with immeasurable good qualities,
Oh Lord who keeps Parvathi in the left, Oh Lord with the colour of the coral,
Oh Lord coated with white sacred ash and who wears anklets on his golden feet,
Oh Lord who presides over Thirukadayur full of gold, corals, pearls,
And diamond ornaments and which is blessed with al sorts of wealth,
Oh Lord who killed the God of death.
4. Getting attracted to father, mother, wife, relations, the babies who lisp,
Wealth, young age, bewitching pleasures and breasts of pretty ladies,
Day and night, getting weakened by it and becoming like a dry grass in a deep sea,
I was wandering without aim but you did not think it fit to help me by improving me, Is it not?
Oh Lord who sings to make the mind melt, who dances with his jingling anklets,
Who decorates his hair holding the Ganges river with Karanthai* flowers,
Who coats all his body with sacred ash, who wears a loin cloth and a hide of tiger,
And stood holding a alms pot, Oh Lord of Kadayur blessed with all wealth,
Oh Lord who killed the God of death.

5. Being a well of deceit, being a sea of sorrow, being the residence of poverty,
Being the sea of untruth in the body full of sins, being a field of unconsciousness due to sin,
Being a form of the accumulated sins, Being devoid of happiness, mercy and help to others,
Being a store house of all diseases that trouble, my head is not stable and
I wander without any aim and when will I get your cooling assistance ? I do not know.
Oh Lord with shining red hair, in which snake with poisonous fangs and sharp teeth,
Which keeps the shining garnet with it and also the cooling crescent of moon reside,
Who resides in the prosperous Thirukadayur, where the lotus in the ponds,
Always close themselves thinking that the face of damsels of the town is a full moon,

6. Brahma has got bored, mothers have got tired, women are afraid of child birth,
Diseases have become enemy, old age is troubling, desires follow you and drag,
The god of death is hating his job, The hell is also hating itself,
The world after carrying all the people up to this time is in pain and has become thin,
And am I the only target for carrying the corpse of the chariot of time which rotates?
In the lakes of Thirukadavur, where the flowers open like gems and shine with great luster,
The young and fat Buffallos swim in the water and eat the honey drenching lotus flowers,
And this appears like the big black rich clouds entering the sea and making them in to vapour.
Oh Lord who killed the God of death.
7. I called people, whose mind is tumultuous with anger, people with bad character,
People whose mind is full of evil tricks and the fools who are not fit to move with good people,
As Dharmaputhra for patience, Adisesha for good character . Agasthya for poetic skills,
And Indra who enjoys life and wasted all my time., Alas.
Oh Lord of Kadayur which is like the wish giving tree among the five great trees which touch the sky,
Where the horses of the sun are nothing but the bees of Thirukadayur growing immensely,
Reaching there and tearing the clouds as a group, having attained that growth,
Due to drinking the constant shower of honey by the various flowers,
Of the prosperous Thirukadayur, Oh Lord who killed the God of death.
8. Please bless me so that I become one in the company of your great devotees,
Who with a melted heart, agree for serving you, put on the sacred ash on them,
And wear the chain of Rudraksha, perambulate your golden temple,
Pick flowers suitable for your worship, win over the enemy of five sensory organs,
Which make one loose his senses to the illusory pleasures of life,
Control all worries and then worship by reciting the great three lettered Mrutyunjaya chant,
Of “Om, Jum Sa”, and permit the base man like me to worship you.
Oh God of the town of prosperous Kadayur where the swans sit happily on the lotus flowers,
And the peacocks on seeing the rich clouds open their feathers and dance
Oh Lord who killed the God of death.
9. If this sinner who sank in the sea of sorrow daily by the pretty lady,
Attracting by her eyes with collyrium, melting the mind,
Shining with her face where turmeric has been applied,
Wearing jeweled ornaments, creating passion, tying her breasts tightly,
Sitting very near me talking sweet nothings, stealing my heart,
Falling on me as if she has lost their senses, telling lies,
And with her only aim as attracting others,
Does service to your pure lotus like feet, would there be problems?
Oh God from the town of prosperous Kadayur full of bees,
Which have drunk honey from the lotus flowers and rotate like,
The coins rotating in the hands of women playing the game,
Oh Lord who killed the God of death.
10. Consider my actions as service to you, Consider my words as Panchakshara,
Consider my wanderings as perambulations round you, my thought process as meditation,
Consider the food that I eat as the sacred offerings to you and consider my sleep as a salute to you,
And receive them with joy in your holy heart and shower your grace on me along with mother,
In the presence of all devotees of this world and devas of heaven.
Oh God from the prosperous town of Kadayur where the blue lotus flowers, .
Always stand straight thinking the face of the women laborers in the field,
As the Sun due to the brilliance of their faces and which is full of,
Ponds which are full of fishes, areca nut trees and Sugarcane as tall as those trees,
