Meaning:
A mouth which had not taste the betel, which contradicts its own words and which cannot sing is equivalent to a pit filled with mud and ashes.

Tamboolam – This is made by rolling up betel leaves with placing areca nuts, a bit of lime. Taken after sumptuous meal, it is usually a part of festivity. It is said to have digestic, aphrodisiac and mouth freshening qualities
