Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళాహస్తీశ్వరా!భార్యాబిడ్డలు,తల్లిదండ్రులు,దనము అనే గొప్ప బందము నా కంఠమున కెందుకు ముడిపెట్టినావో తెలియుట లేదు.ఆ కుత్తుకచే నిన్నెపుడు స్మరించ గలుగుతాను?నీయందలి భక్తి మొదలుకే తొలుగుటచే మనస్సులో వృద్దిబొందుతూ ఉన్న మోహము అనెడి సముద్రంలో మునిగిన ఈ దుఃఖాన్నెట్లు తొలగించెదవో!కాబట్టి నన్ను దుఃఖసముద్రము నుండి దాటింపుము.

O Lord! You have tied the burden of family to my neck. How do I voice out my devotion to you now? My mind is being pained by the misery of wordly connection. Please save me from this wordly misery.
