Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!నా మనస్సును అజ్ఞానమనే చీకటి చుట్టుకొనటం చేత,నేను కొందరు చెడువారలతో కలిసి తిరిగి చెడు పనులను చేసితిని.ఇట్లు సహింపరాని పనులను చేసితిని కాబట్టి నిన్ను నేను స్వీకరించనని అంగీకరింపక నన్ను నీలోకము(కైలాసము)నుంచి త్రోసివేసినను,జుట్టుపట్టుకొని త్రోసినను చూరుపట్టుకొని వ్రేలాడు.అనేటట్లుగా నేను నిన్నేపట్టుకొని ఉందును.అయినను నేను కోరుచున్న మోక్షమును నీవు నాకు ఎందులకు ఇచ్చుటలేదు.

O Lord! In ignorance, I have done misdeeds and befriended vain people. Hence, you seem to have forsaken me. Now I realise the fault and cling to your feet for deliverance.
