Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళాహస్తీశ్వరా!మన ఇద్దరికి మద్య ఒక ఒప్పందము చేసుకొందము వినుము.నేను భక్తితో నీ మంత్రాదులు ఉచ్చరించుటకు ఏ మాత్రము బత్తమడగను. పుచ్చుకొనను.ఎల్లపుడు ఆనందముగా నిన్ను స్మరించెదను. ఆలుబిడ్డలు,రాగద్వేషాలతో కూడిన సంసార భందమనుశత్రువులకు నన్నప్పగించకుండుటయే నాకోరిక.నాకు గుర్రములు వద్దు.ఏనుగులొద్దు.సిరిసంపదలు సౌఖ్యములొద్దు.నాకు నీ భక్తియే చాలును.ఇంకేమీ వద్దు.సంసారము అను యుద్దము చేయకుండా నన్ను కాపాడుము.

O Lord! Let us make a pact with each other. I will not ask for wages to chant the hymns of your praise, In return, I seek neither riches nor power, Just save me from an enemy, the enemy called the wordly passions like a family, riches etc.
