O Lord of Six Faces! I do not find anywhere a God like You.

Anupallavi

O Lord abiding in brahmapuri whom it is not possible to behold even in meditation! O Son of ParvathI – daughter of Himavan!

Charanams

1. O Lord of Six Faces! I do not find anywhere a God like You who – (a) that day, while playing, with Your auspicious form, with boys of Your age on the Kailasa mountain, (b) having become angry with Brahma who, on Your questioning, responded fearlessly that he Himself to be the purport of Pranava, (c) by quickly pointing to one warrior among nine warriors, and giving definitive orders to him allotted the powers of projection one by one, (d) to the appreciation of celestials, Vishnu – enemy of Mura, and Siva – enemy of Tri-pura on hearing the same.

2. O Lord of Six Faces! I do not find anywhere a God like You who, (a) being beyond the capacity of Vishnu, Siva, the Lords of Directions, Moon who has digits, Sun, and Vidyadhara, the blessed heroes and others existing in this great Universe (to subdue the arrogance of Soora Padmasura), (b) when (they) joining together, sought Your refuge, (c) hearing their plea and unable to bear, (d) gloriously subdued the arrogance of Soora Padmasura – who is the greatest enemy (of celestials).

3. O Moon Faced! all the lovely beauty found in millions of cupids would be equivalent to the tip of Your nail; O Lord Kumara who implanted in my mind firmly for ever such an auspicious form of Your’s! O Lord of Great Compassion! O Lotus Eyed! O Lord well praised by Lord Siva – who is wearer of Digit of Moon – Lord of Stars! O Lord Well Disposed to those dependent on You!
