as the gold-laced garments of some others slacken,

as yet others recount the stories of Krishna, (behold now…)

3.As some exclaim that He is the friend of Tyagaraja,
as the musk forehead-marks of some dissolve away,
as the flowers on the chignon of some slide down and
as the bracelets of others jingle, (behold now…)
