Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. శ్రీకాళహస్తీశ్వరా!నీకొక్క మారేడు దళముతో పూజసల్పిన ఈ భూమిమీద పుణ్యము కలుగుచున్నది.ఆ విదంగా చేయకుండా ఇతర దేవతలకు పప్పు,ప్రసాదములు,అటుకులు,గుగ్గిళ్లు మొదలైనవి ప్రసాదాలుగా సమర్పించుచు ఎందుకు పనికిరాకుండా ఇహపరములు రెండింటికి చెడిపోవుచున్నారు.

O Lord! By just offering you some bilwa leaves, one can get deliverance, yet people lose their prospect of ever attaining it by making exuberant offering to other deities.
