कृथर्थ देव वन्दनं, दिनेसा वंस नन्दनं,
सुशोभि फलचन्दनं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 1
मुनीन्द्र यज्ञ कारकं, शिला विपथि हारकं,
महा धनुर विधरकं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 2
श्र्वथथ वाक्य कर्णं, थापोवने विहरिनं,
वरेषु चाप धारिणं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 3
कुरङ्ग मुक्था सायकं, जटायु मोक्ष दायकं,
प्रविध कीस नयगं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 4
प्लवङ्ग संग संमथिं, निबध निम्नगपथिं,
दासस्य वंस संक्षथिं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 5
विधीनदेव हर्षणम्, कपीप्सिथार्थ वर्षणं,
श्र्वबन्धु सोक हर्षणम्, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 6
गथारि राज्य रक्षणं, प्रज्व जनर्थि बक्षणं,
कृथस्थ मोह लक्षणं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 7
ह्रुथखिलचलभरं, स्वधमनीथ नगरं,
जगथामो दिवाकरं, नमामि रामं एअस्वरम्. 8
इधं समहिथथ्मन नरो रघूथमश्तकम्,
पत न्निरन्थरं, भयं,भवोदः भवं न विन्धाथे.9

స్వతత వాక్య కరినం, తపోవనే విహరినం,
వరేషు చాప ధారిణం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 3
కురంగ ముక్త సాయకం, జటాయు మోక్ష దాయకం,
ప్రవిధ కీస నాయగం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 4
ప్లవంగ సంగ సమ్మతిం, నిబద నిమ్నగాపతిం,
దాసస్య వంస సంక్షతిం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 5
విదీనదేవ హర్షణం, కపీప్సితార్త వర్శనం,
స్వబందు సోక హర్షణం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 6
గాత్రి రాజ్య రక్షణం, ప్రజ్వ జనర్తి బాక్షణం,
క్రుతస్త మోహ లక్షణం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 7
హ్రుతఖిలచాలభారం, స్వధమనీత నగరం,
జగతమో దివాకరం, నమామి రామం ఎఅస్వరం. 8
ఇదం సమహితత్మన నరో రఘూతమష్టకం,
పాట న్నిరంతరం, భయం,భావోద్ భావం న విందతే.9

சுஷோபிய் ப்ஹலச்சண்டனம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 1
முநீன்ற யகன கரகம், ஷீலா விபதி ஹரகம்,
மஹா தனுர் விதரகம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 2
சவத்த வகய கரினம், தபோவனே விஹரினம்,
வரேஷு சபா தரினம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 3
குரங்க முக்த சாயகம், ஜடாயு மோக்ஷ தாயகம்,
பரவித கீச நாயகம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 4
பிலவங்க சங்க சம்மதிம், நிபாத நிம்னகபதிம்,
தசச்ய வம்ச சம்க்ஷதிம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 5
விதீனாதேவா ஹர்ஷனம், கபீப்சிதார்த்த வர்ஷனம்,
ச்வபந்து சோக ஹர்ஷனம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 6
கதறி ராஜ்ய ரக்ஷணம், பிரஜ்வா ஜனர்தி பக்ஷணம்,
க்ருதச்த முஹ லக்ஷணம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 7
ஹ்ருதக்கிலாச்சலபாரம், ச்வதமநீத நகரம்,
ஜகதாமோ திவாகரம், நமாமி ரமம் ஈஸ்வரம். 8
இதம் சமஹிதத்மான நரோ ரக்ஹூதமஷ்டகம்,
பட நிரந்தரம், பயம்,பாவோத் பாவம் ந வின்ததே.9

Kruthartha deva vandanam, Dinesa vamsa nandanam,
Sushobhi phalachandanam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 1
Muneendra yagna karakam, Shila vipathi harakam,
Maha dhanur vidharakam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 2
Swathatha vakya karinam, thapovane viharinam,
Vareshu chapa dharinam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 3
Kuranga muktha sayakam, Jatayu moksha dayakam,
Pravidha keesa nayagam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 4
Plavanga sanga sammathim, Nibadha nimnagapathim,
Dasasya vamsa samkshathim, Namami Ramam easwaram. 5
Vidheenadeva harshanam, kapeepsithaartha varshanam,
Swabandhu soka harshanam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 6
Gathari rajya rakshanam, prajwa janarthi bakshanam,
Kruthastha moha lakshanam, Namami Ramam easwaram. 7
Hruthakhilachalabharam, swadhamaneetha nagaram,
Jagathamo divakaram, Namami Ramam easwaram. 8
Idham samahithathmana naro raghoothamashtakam,
Pata nnirantharam, bhayam,bhavodh bhavam na vindhathe.9

I salute that God Rama,
Who is saluted by grateful devas,
Who belongs to clan of the Sun God,
And who shines with sandal applied on his forehead. 1
I salute that God Rama,
Who got the Yagna of Viswamithra conducted,
Who removed danger to the stone,
And who broke the great bow. 2
I salute that God Rama,
Who obeyed words of his father,
Who lived in the forests of meditation,
And who carried bows and arrows. 3
I salute that God Rama,
Who shot an arrow at the deer,
Who gave salvation to Jatayu,
And who shot an arrow at the king of monkeys. 4
I salute that God Rama,
Who had a treaty with monkeys,
Who built a bridge over the sea,
And who put an end to family of the ten headed. 5
I salute that God Rama,
Who gave happiness to the sad devas,
Who fulfilled the wishes of monkeys,
And who put an end to the sorrow of his relations. 6
I salute that God Rama,
Who saved the kingdom from enemies,
Who put an end to the sorrow of the people,
And who existed as a great philosopher. 7
I salute that God Rama,
Who lightened the load of earth,
Who lead his people to heaven,
And who is the sun who put an end to darkness. 8
He who reads this octet,
On the great one of Raghu clan,
Permanently with devotion,
Would never feel the fear of this world. 9
