सुवर्ण पद्मिनी ततन्थ दिव्य हर्म्य वासिने,
सुपर्ण वहन प्रियत सूर्य कोटि थेजसे,
अपर्णाय विहरिने फन दरेन्द्र धारिणे,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 1
सथुङ्ग भङ्ग जःनुजा सुधंसु गण्ड मोउलये,
पठन्ग पङ्कज सुःरुतः कृपीत योनि चक्षुषे,
भुजङ्ग राज कुण्डलाय, पुण्य शाली, भन्धवे,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 2
चथुर मुखानना अरविन्द वेद गीथा भूथये,
चथुर्भुजनुजा सरीर शोभा मन मुर्थये,
चथुर्विदर्थ दान सोउन्द थान्दव स्वरूपिने,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 3
सरन निसाकर प्रकास मन्द हसा मञ्जुल,
धर प्रवाल भास मन वक्त्र मण्डल श्रिये,
करस्फुरतः कपलमुक्था विष्णु रक्था पयिने,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 4
सहस्र पुण्डरीक पूजनैक शून्य दर्शनतः,
सहस्र नेत्र कल्पिथर्चनच्युथाय भक्थिथ,
सहस्र भानु मण्डल प्रकास चक्र धयिने,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 5
रसरधाय रम्य पथर ब्रुथ्रदङ्ग पाणये,
रस दरेन्द्र चाप सिन्जनि कृथा निलसिने,
श्र्वसरधि कृथब्जा योनि नुन्ना वेद वाजिने,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 6
अधिप्रकल्भ वीरभद्र सिंह नाद गर्जिथ,
स्रुथि प्रभीथ दक्ष यग भगिनाग सद्मनां,
गथि प्रध्य गर्जिथखिल प्रपञ्च साक्षिणे,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 7
मृकण्डु सूनु रक्षण वधूथ दण्ड पाणये,
सुगन्द मन्दलस्फुरतः प्रभा जिथंरुथंसवे,
अखण्ड भोग संपदर्थ लोक भविथथ्मने,
सदा नमषिवाय थेय सदाशिवाय शम्भवे. 8
मधुरिपु विधि शक्र मुख्य देवैइ,
अपि नियमर्चिथ पद पन्कजय,
कनक गिरि सरसनाय थुभ्यं,
राजथ सभा पथ्ये, नमसिवाय. 9
हलस्य नाधय महेश्वरय,
हल हललन्कृथ कन्धराय,
मीनेक्षनाय पद्ये शिवाय,
नमो नाम सुन्दर थान्दवाय. 10
ईश्वर उवाच:-
ठ्वय कर्थं इधं स्थोथ्रं य पदेतः भक्थि संयुथ,
थस्य आयुर दीर्गं आरोग्यं संपदस्च ददंयाहं.

సువర్ణ పద్మిని తతంత దివ్య హర్మ్య వాసినే,
సుపర్ణ వాహన ప్రియత సూర్య కోటి తేజసే,
అపర్నయ విహరినే ఫనా దరేంద్ర దారినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 1
సతుంగా భంగ జహ్నుజ సుధంసు గండ మౌలయే,
పతంగ పంకజ సుహృత్ కృపీట యోని చక్షుషే,
భుజంగ రాజ కుండలయ, పుణ్య శాలి, భంధవే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 2
చతుర్ ముఖాన్న అరవింద వేద గీత భూతయే,
చాతుర్భుజనుజ శరీర శోభ మన మూర్తయే,
చాతుర్విదర్త దన సౌండ తాండవ స్వరూపినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 3
సారం నిశాకర ప్రకాస మంద హస మంజుల,
ధర పరవాల భాస మన వక్త్ర మండల సరియే,
కరస్ఫురత్ కపలముక్త విష్ణు రక్త పయినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 4
సహస్ర పుండరీక పూజనైక సూన్య దర్శనాత్,
సహస్ర నేత్ర కల్పితర్చనచ్యుతాయ భక్తిత,
సహస్ర భాను మండల ప్రకాస చక్ర ధయినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 5
రసరదయ రమ్య పాత్రా బ్రుత్రదంగా పనాయె,
రస దరేంద్ర చాప సిన్జని కృత నిలసినే,
స్వసరధి క్రుతబ్జ యోని నున్న వేద వజినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 6
అధిప్రకల్భ వీరభద్ర సింహ నడ గర్జిత,
శ్రుతి ప్రభీత దక్ష యాగా భాగినగా సద్మనాం,
గతి ప్రదాయ గర్జితఖిల ప్రపంచ సాక్షినే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 7
మృకండు సూను రక్షణ వదూత దండ పనాయె,
సుగంద మండలస్ఫురత్ ప్రభ జితంరుతంసవే,
అఖండ భోగ సంపదర్త లోక భావితత్మనే,
సద నమశివాయ థెయ్ సదాశివాయ శంభవే. 8
మధురిపు విధి శాక్ర ముఖ్య దెవైఇ,
ఆపి నియమర్చిత పద పంకజాయ,
కనక గిరి సరసనయ తుభ్యం,
రజత సభ పతయే, నమసివాయ. 9
హలస్య నదయ మహేశ్వరాయ,
హల హలలన్క్రుత కన్ధరాయ,
మీనేక్షనయ పాడయే శివాయ,
నమో నమ సుందర తన్దవాయ. 10
ఇష్వర ఉవాచ:-
త్వయ కృతం ఇదం స్తోత్రం య పదేత్ భక్తి సంయుత,
తస్య ఆయుర్ దీర్గం ఆరోగ్యం సంపదస్చ దాదామ్యాహం.

சுவர்ண பத்மினி தடந்த திவ்ய ஹர்ம்ய வசினே,
சுபர்ண வகன பிரியட சூர்யா கோடி தேஜஸே,
அபர்ணய விஹரினே பகன டறேன்ற தரினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 1
சாத்துங்க பாங்க ஜக்னுஜா சுதம்சு கண்ட மூளையே,
பதங்க பங்கஜ சுஹ்ருத் க்ருபீட்ட யோனி சக்ஷுஷே,
புஜங்க ராஜா குண்டலய, புண்ய சளி, பான்தவே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 2
சதுர் முக்ஹாணன் அரவிந்த வேதா கீதா போஒதையே,
சதுர்புஜனுஜா சரீர ஷோபா மன முர்த்தையே,
சதுர்விடர்த்த டன சௌண்ட தண்டவ ச்வரூபினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 3
சரண் நிசாகர பிரகாச மண்ட ஹச மஞ்சுளா,
தர பரவல பாச மன வக்த்ர மண்டல சரியே,
அரஸ்ப்ஹுரத் கபலமுக்த விஷ்ணு ரக்த பினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 4
சஹாச்ற புண்டரீக பூசனைக சூன்ய தர்ஷனத்,
சஹாச்ற நேத்ரா கல்பிதர்ச்சனச்சிஉதய பக்தித,
சஹாச்ற பானு மண்டல பிரகாச சக்ர தினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 5
ரசரதய ரம்யா பதற ப்ருத்ரஅடங்க பனையே,
ராசா டறேன்ற சபா சிஞ்சனி கருத நிலசினே,
ச்வசரதி க்ருதப்ச யோனி னுன்ன வேதா வஜினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 6
அதிப்ரகல்பா வீரபாட்ற சிம்ஹா நட கர்ஜித,
சுருதி பிரப்ஹீத தக்ஷ யாக பாகினக சத்மனாம்,
கதி பிரதய கர்ஜிதக்கிலா பிரபஞ்ச சக்ஷினே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 7
மிருகண்டு சூனு ரக்ஷன வதூத தண்ட பனையே,
சுகந்த மந்டலஸ்ப்ஹுரத் பிரபா ஜிதம்ருதம்சவே,
அக்ஹண்ட போக சம்படர்த்த லோக பாவிதத்மனே,
சட நமசிவய தே சடஷிவய ஷம்பாவே. 8
மதுரிப்பு விதி சாகிற முக்ஹ்ய தேவஈ,
அபி நியமர்சித்த பட பங்கஜய,
கனக கிரி சரசனைய துப்யம்,
ராஜாத சபா பதயே, நமசிவய. 9
ஹலச்ய நாதாய மகேஸ்வறைய,
ஹல ஹலலன்க்ருத கந்தறைய,
மீநேக்ஷனைய படையே சிவா,
நமோ நாம சுந்தர தண்டவய. 10
இஷ்வர உவச்ச:-
த்வய கருத்தும் இதம் ஸ்தோத்ரம் யா படத் பக்தி சம்யுத்த,
தஸ்ய ஆயுர் தீர்க்கம் ஆரோக்கியம் சம்படச்ச டடம்யஹம்.

Suvarna padmini thatantha divya harmya vasine,
Suparna vahana priyata soorya koti thejase,
Aparnaya viharine phana darendra dharine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 1
Sathunga bhanga jahnuja sudhamsu ganda moulaye,
Pathanga pankaja suhruth krupeeta yoni chakshushe,
Bhujanga raja kundalaya, punya shali, bhandhave,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 2
Chathur mukhanana aravinda veda geetha bhoothaye,
Chathurbhujanuja sareera shobha mana murthaye,
Chathurvidartha dana sounda thandava swaroopine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 3
Saran nisakara prakasa manda hasa manjula,
Dhara pravala bhasa mana vakthra mandala sriye,
Karasphurath kapalamuktha Vishnu raktha payine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 4
Sahasra pundareeka poojanaika soonya darshanath,
Sahasra nethra kalpitharchanachyuthaya bhakthitha,
Sahasra bhanu mandala prakasa chakra dhayine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 5
Rasaradhaya ramya pathra bruthradanga panaye,
Rasa darendra chapa sinjani krutha nilasine,
Swasaradhi kruthabja yoni nunna veda vajine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 6
Adhiprakalbha veerabhadra simha nada garjitha,
Sruthi prabheetha daksha yaga bhaginaga sadmanaam,
Gathi pradhaya garjithakhila prapancha sakshine,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 7
Mrukandu soonu rakshana vadhootha danda panaye,
Suganda mandalasphurath prabha jithamruthamsave,
Akhanda bhoga sampadartha loka bhavithathmane,
Sada namashivaya they sadashivaya shambhave. 8
Madhuripu vidhi shakra mukhya devaii,
Api niyamarchitha pada pankajaya,
Kanaka giri sarasanaya thubhyam,
Rajatha sabha pathaye, namasivaya. 9
Halasya nadhaya maheshwaraya,
Hala halalankrutha kandharaya,
Meenekshanaya padaye shivaya,
Namo nama Sundara thandavaya. 10
Ishwara Uvacha:-
Thwaya krutham idham sthothram ya padeth bhakthi samyutha,
Thasya ayur deergam arogyam sampadascha dadamyaham.

Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who resides in the holy building near the tank of golden lotus*,
Who is as brilliant as billions of suns,
Who is liked by he who rides on a bird,
Who lives with Parvati,
And who wears the snake on his head.
[*The temple pond in the city of Madurai is called the pond of the golden lotus.] 1
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who has on his head the river which fell from the sky [Ganges],
And the piece of moon shedding nectar,
Who has moon, friend of lotus and fire as eyes,
Who wears snakes as ear studs,
And who is the friend of all who do good deeds. 2
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who is praised by the four Vedas sung by four faces of Brahma,
Who shines because of his merger with the sister of the four armed,
Who blesses us with just duty, assets, love and salvation,
And who has a form of the vigorous male dancer. 3
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who is very pretty like the autumn moon with a smile,
Who shines with the luster to his face added by his red lips,
Who holds a skull in his one free hand,
And who has got the sister of Lord Vishnu. 4
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who gave the holy wheel with the brilliance of thousand solar systems,
To Him who took his own eye to offer to Him,
When he found that one flower was less out of thousand lotuses .
[When Lord Vishnu was trying to do pooja with Shiva Sahasranama, one flower was missing. He plucked his eye and offered it.] 5
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who travels in the pretty chariot of earth,
Who uses Lord Vishnu as powerful arrow,
Who has a bow made of the Mountain Meru,
For which the great snake has been tied as string,
Whose chariot is driven by Brahma,
With the four holy Vedas as horses. 6
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who gave protection to those who attended the Yaga of Daksha,
Whenthey started trembling before efficient Veerabhadra [who was sent byLord Shiva to destroy the fire sacrifice of Daksha] with his lion likeroar,
And who was the witness to the billions of the universe who heard the roar. 7
Forever salutations to the peaceful one,
Who blesses us with prosperity and who is ever peaceful,
Who took the punishing stick to save the son of Mrukandu from dying,
Whose pretty neck further shines because of the crescent moon,
And who blesses all those who pray for pleasure, wealth and salvation. 8
Salutations to the ever peaceful God,
Whose lotus like feet are worshipped
By enemies of Madhu and other devas,
Who has the golden mountain as his bow,
And who is the lord of the silver hall [Rajatha Sabhai in Madurai Temple]. 9
Salutations and salutations to the handsome dancer,
Who is the great god and lord of town of Madurai,
Who stopped the poison called halahala in his neck,
And who is the lord of the devi with eyes like fish. 10
God told:-
He who reads this prayer composed you with devotion,
Will be given long life, health and wealth by me.
