1. जगत गुरो नमथुभ्यं, सिवाय सिवधाय च,
योगीन्द्राणां च योगीन्द्र गुरूणां गुरव नाम
2. मृथ्योर मृत्यु स्वरूपेन, मृत्यु संसार घन्दन,
मृथ्योर ईस, मृत्यु भीज, मृथ्युन्जय नमोस्थुथे.
3. कला रूपं, कलयथां कला कलेस कारण,
कलद अथीथ कलस्थ कला कला नमोस्थुथे.
4. गुनथीथ गुणाधार गुनभीज गुनथ्मक,
गुनीस गुणिनां भीज गुणिनां गुरव नाम.
5. ब्रह्म स्वरूप ब्रह्मज्ञ ब्रह्म भवे च ततः परा,
ब्रह्म भीज स्वरूपेन, ब्रह्म भीज नमोस्थुथे
6. असिथेन कृथंन स्तोत्रं, भक्थि युक्थास्च य पदेतः,
वर्षमेक, हविष्यासि संकरस्य महत्ह्मन,
7. स लभेतः वैष्णवं पुत्रं, ज्ञानिनं चिरंजीविनं,
दरिद्रो धनमाप्नोथि, मूको भवथि पन्दिथ
8. अभार्यो लबेतः भार्यां, सुशीलां च पथिवृथां,
इह लोके सुखं भुक्थ्व यथ्यन्थे शिव सन्निधिं
9. इधं स्तोत्रं पुरा दत्तं ब्रह्मणा च प्रचेत्हसे,
प्रचेथ्सोथामं दत्तं स्व पुत्र यासिथाय हि.

1. జగత్ గురో నమతుభ్యం, శివాయ సివదయ చ,
యోగీన్ద్రానాం చ యోగీంద్ర గురునం గురవ నమ
2. మృత్యోర్ మృత్యు స్వరూపెన, మృత్యు సంసార ఘందన,
మృత్యోర్ ఈసా, మృత్యు భీజ, మృత్యుంజయ నమోస్తుతే.
3. కల రూపం, కలయతాం కల కాలేస కరణ,
కలద అతీత కాలాస్త కల కల నమోస్తుతే.
4. గునతీత గునాదార గునభీజ గుణాత్మక,
గునీస గునినాం భీజ గునినాం గురవ నమ.
5. బ్రహ్మ స్వరూప బ్రహ్మజ్ఞ బ్రహ్మ భావే చ తత్ పరా,
బ్రహ్మ భీజ స్వరూపెన, బ్రహ్మ భీజ నమోస్తుతే
6. అసితేన క్రుతంన్ స్తోత్రం, భక్తి యుక్తస్చ య పదేత్,
వర్శమేక, హవిష్యాసి సంకరస్య మహాత్మనా,
7. స లభేత్ వైష్ణవం పుత్రం, జ్ఞానినం చిరంజీవినం,
దరిద్రో ధనమాప్నోతి, మూకో భవతి పండిత
8. అభార్యో లబెత్ భార్యాం, సుశీలాం చ పతివ్రుతాం,
ఇహ లోకే సుఖం భుక్త్వా యత్యన్తే శివ సన్నిధిం
9. ఇదం స్తోత్రం పురా డతం బ్రాహ్మణా చ ప్రచేతసే,
ప్రచేత్సోతమం డతం స్వ పుత్ర యాసితయ హాయ్.

1. ஜகாத் குரோ நமதுபியம், சிவாய சிவதய ச,
யோகீன்றானாம் ச யோகீன்ற குருனாம் குரவ நாம
2. ம்ருத்யோர் ம்ருத்யு ஸ்வரூபேண, ம்ருத்யு சம்சார கண்டன,
ம்ருத்யோர் ஈச, ம்ருத்யு பீஜ, ம்ருத்யுஞ்சய நமோஸ்துதே.
3. கல ரூபம், கலையதாம் கல காலேச காரண,
கலைத் அதீத கலசத கல கல நமோஸ்துதே.
4. குனதீத குனாதார குனப்ஹீஜா குனத்மாக,
குநீச குநினாம் பீஜ குநினாம் குரவ நாம.
5. பிரம்மா ஸ்வரூப பிராமக்ன பிரம்மா பாவே ச தத் பரா,
பிரம்மா பீஜ ஸ்வரூபேண, பிரம்மா பீஜ நமோஸ்துதே
6. அசிதென க்ருதம்ன் ஸ்தோத்ரம், பக்தி யுக்தச்ச யா படத்,
வர்ஷமேக, ஹவிஷ்யாசி சங்கரஷ்ய மகாத்மான,
7. ச லபிஎத் வைஷ்ணவம் புத்ரம், ஜ்னநினம் சிறம்ஜீவினம்,
டரித்ரோ தனமாப்நோதி, மூக்கோ பவதி பண்டித
8. அபார்யோ லாபத் பாராம், சுஷீலாம் ச பதிவ்ருதாம்,
இஹா லோகே சுகன் புக்த்வா யத்யந்தே சிவ சந்நிதிம்
9. இதம் ஸ்தோத்ரம் புறா தத்தம் பிராமன ச ப்ரசெதசே,
ப்ரசெத்சொதமம் தத்தம் சுவா புத்திர யாசிதய ஹாய்.

1. Jagat guro Namathubhyam, sivaya sivadhaya cha,
Yogeendraanaam cha Yogeendra gurunaam Gurava nama
2. Mruthyor Mruthyu swaroopena, mruthyu samsara ghandana,
Mruthyor eesa, mruthyu bheeja, mruthyunjaya namosthuthe.
3. Kala roopam, kalayathaam Kala kalesa Karana,
Kalad atheetha kalastha Kala Kala namosthuthe.
4. Gunatheetha Gunaadhaara Gunabheeja Gunathmaka,
Guneesa guninaam Bheeja Guninaam gurava nama.
5. Brahma swaroopa Brahmagna Brahma bhave cha thath paraa,
Brahma bheeja swaroopena, Brahma bheeja Namosthuthe
6. Asithena kruthamn stotram, Bhakthi yukthascha ya padeth,
Varshameka, havishyaasi Sankarasya mahathmana,
7. Sa labheth vaishnavam puthram, jnaninam chiramjeevinam,
Daridhro Dhanamaapnothi, Mooko bhavathi panditha
8. Abharyo labeth BHaryaam, susheelaam cha pathivruthaam,
Iha loke sukham bhukthwa yathyanthe Shiva sannidhim
9. Idham stotram puraa datham Brahmana cha prachethase,
Prachethsothamam datham swa puthra yaasithaya hi.

1. Salutations to the teacher of the universe,
And also to Shiva and the family of Shiva,
Salutations to the king of Yogis and the,
Teacher of the teacher of the king of Yogis.
2. Salutation to the death, the form of death,
The one who destroys death in this world,
God of death, root of death, and the victor of death.
3. Salutations to one who has the form of death,
To the death of God of death, the cause,
Of the God of death, one who is beyond death,
One who determines death and is the death of death.
4. Salutations to one who is beyond virtue, the basis of virtue,
The root of virtue, the soul of virtue, the Lord of virtue,
The cause of virtuous people and the teacher of virtuous people.
5. Salutations to him who has the form of Brahma, the knower of Brahma,
The one who looks for Brahmam and is completely engaged in it,
The form of the root of Brahma and the root of Brahma.
6. If this prayer composed by Asitha is read with utmost devotion,
Within a year he would become fit to be a great devotee of Lord Shiva.
7. He would get a very great son, who would live long and be intelligent,
The poor one would earn money and the dumb one would become a learned man.
8. One who does not have a wife would get a wife,
Who is virtuous and of good character,
And after enjoying pleasures in this world,
At the end he would reach the presence of Lord Shiva.
9. This prayer was in ancient times given by Lord Brahma to Prachethas,
And Prachethas himself gave this to his son Asitha.
