Sreekanteswaram Temple with golden flag staff in the city 500 mtrs from east fort. Sreekovil opens at 3.30 am. On Sivarathri day 24 hrs Palabhishekom is conducted. Ucha Pooja nivedyam is a feast, eight items ( Rice and Currys, pickles etc ) in a dish is the peculiarity here. Aarattu – Dhanu Thiruvathira.
