Temple’s Speciality:
The shrine is praised in the Tirupugazh hymns of Saint Arunagiriar. Those worshipping the Vishnu Durga in the temple with lime cup lamps are blessed to tie the knot happily. Those observing the Sashti fasting are blessed with child boon.
