Muramalla is located at a distance of 25 Km from Amalapuram, 38 Km from Kakinada (Via Yanam) and 105 Km from Rajahmundry (Via Ravulapalem). The village Muramalla is Major Panchayat and it is just adjacent to Mummidivaram Mandal. There are number of buses plying from Kakinada, Amalapuram and limited buses from Rajahmundry.

Sri Bhadrakalisametha Sri Veereswaraswamy vari temple situated in Muramalla village of I.Polavaram mandal is a historical place in the District where the Nityakalyanam is performed to the Lord daily and nearly hundreds of pilgrims visit the temple and perform their pujas. Kalyanams will be performed to the Lord every night from 7 P.M.
