ब्रह्म स्वरूप परम ज्योथि स्वरूपा सनथानि,
सर्व विध्यथि देव्या थास्यै वन्य नमो नाम. 1
विसर्ग बिन्धु मथ्रासु यध थिष्टन मेव च,
थाथथिष्ट थरिया देवी थास्यै निथ्यै नमो नाम. 2
व्याख्या स्वरूप स देवी व्याख्या थिष्ट रूपिणी,
ययविनप्रसङ्ग्यवन्सस्क्यं कर्थुं सक्यथे. 3
कला संख्या स्वरूपय थास्मै देव्यैर नमो नाम,
ब्रह्म सिधन्थ रूपाय थास्मै देयैर नमो नाम. 4
स्मृथि सक्थि ज्ञान शक्थि बुधि सक्थि स्वरूपिनि,
प्रथिभा कल्पन शक्थ्यस्च थास्मै नमो नाम. 5
कृपम कुरु जगन मथ मामेवं हाथ थेजसं,
ज्ञानं देहि, स्मृथीं विध्यं शक्थिं सिष्य प्रबोधिनीं. 6
याज्ञवल्क्य कर्थं वनि स्तोत्रं एथथुय्य पदेतः,
सकवीन्द्रो महा वाग्मिब्रहस्पथि समो भवेतः,
स पन्दिथ मेधविसुख्विन्ध्रोप वेद द्रुवं. 7

బ్రహ్మ స్వరూప పరమ జ్యోతి స్వరూపా సనతని,
సర్వ విధ్యతి దేవయ తస్యై వన్య నమో నమ. 1
విసర్గ బిందు మత్రసు యధా తిష్టన మేవ చ,
తాతాతిష్ట త్రియ దేవి తస్యై నిత్యై నమో నమ. 2
వ్యాఖ్య స్వరూప స దేవి వ్యాఖ్య తిష్ట రూపిని,
యయవినప్రసంగ్యవంసస్క్యం కర్తుం సక్యతే. 3
కల సంఖ్యా స్వరూపాయ తస్మై దేవ్యిర్ నమో నమ,
బ్రహ్మ సిదంత రూపాయ తస్మై దెయిర్ నమో నమ. 4
స్మ్రితి శక్తీ జ్ఞాన శక్తి బుధి శక్తీ స్వరూపిణి,
ప్రతిభ కల్పనా శక్త్యస్చ తస్మై నమో నమ. 5
కృపమ కురు జగన్ మత మమేవం హత తేజసం,
జ్ఞానం దేహి, స్మ్రుతీం విద్యం శక్తిం శిష్య ప్రబోదినీం. 6
యాజ్ఞవల్క్య కృతం వాణి స్తోత్రం ఎతతుయ్య పదేత్,
సకవీన్ద్రో మహా వాగ్మిబ్రహస్పతి సమో భవేత్,
స పండిత మేధావిసుఖ్విన్ద్రోప వేద దృవం. 7

பிரம்மா ஸ்வரூப பரம ஜ்யோதி ஸ்வரூபா சனாதனி,
சர்வ வித்யாதி தேவய தசை வன்ய நமோ நாம. 1
விசர்கா பிந்து மத்ரசு யாத திஷ்டன மேவ ச,
தததிஷ்ட தெரிய தேவி தசை நிதியை நமோ நாம. 2
வ்யக்ஹ்ய ஸ்வரூப ச தேவி வ்யக்ஹ்ய திஷ்ட ரூபிணி,
யயவினப்ரசன்ஞவன்சச்க்யம் கர்த்தும் சக்யதே. 3
கல சந்க்ஹ்ய ஸ்வரூபாய தஸ்மை தேவியர் நமோ நாம,
பிரம்மா சிதைந்த ரூபாய தஸ்மை தயிர் நமோ நாம. 4
ஸ்ம்ரிதி சக்தி ஞான ஷக்தி புதி சக்தி ஸ்வரூபிணி,
பிரதிபா கல்பனா ஷக்த்யச்ச்ச தஸ்மை நமோ நாம. 5
க்ருபாம குறு ஜகன் மத மமேவம் ஹத தேஜசம்,
ஞானம் தேஹி, ச்ம்ருதீம் விதயம் சக்திம் சிஷ்ய ப்ரபோதிநீம். 6
யஞவல்க்ய கருத்தும் வாணி ஸ்தோத்ரம் எததுய்ய படத்,
சகவீன்றோ மஹா வக்மிப்ரஹச்பதி சமோ பவேத்,
ச பண்டித மேதவிசுக்ஹ்விந்த்ரோப வேதா துருவம். 7

Brahma swaroopa parama jyothi swaroopaa sanathani,
Sarva vidhyathi devya thasyai vanya namo nama. 1
Visarga bindhu mathrasu yadha thishtana meva cha,
Thathathishta thriya devi thasyai nithyai namo nama. 2
Vyakhya swaroopa sa devi vyakhya thishta roopini,
Yayavinaprasangyavansaskyam karthum sakyathe. 3
Kala sankhya swaroopaya thasmai devyair namo nama,
Brahma sidhantha roopaya thasmai deyair namo nama. 4
Smrithi sakthi Gnana shakthi budhi sakthi swaroopini,
Prathibha kalpana shakthyascha thasmai namo nama. 5
Krupama kuru jagan matha mamevam hatha thejasam,
Gnanam dehi, smrutheem vidhyam shakthim sishya prabodhineem. 6
Yagnavalkya krutham Vani stotram Ethathuyya padeth,
Sakaveendro Maha VagmiBrahaspathi samo bhaveth,
Sa panditha medhavisukhvindhropa veda druvam. 7

Salutations and Salutations to Vani,
Who is the form of Lord Brahma,
Who is always, the form of light,
And who is the goddess of all learning. 1
Salutations and salutations to that Goddess,
Who lives in colon, full stops and comma*,
And who is the goddess controlling them all.
*She is the goddess of the language. 2
She is the personification of description,
And is the goddess of description,
And without her divine grace,
Even very learned will not be able to do anything. 3
Salutations and salutations to that Goddess,
Who is of the form of time and numbers,
Salutations and salutations to that Goddess,
Who is personification of the science of Brahmam. 4
Salutations and salutations to that Goddess,
Who is the form of divine knowledge, thirst for knowledge,
Power of knowledge, intelligence, strength,
Exuberance of intelligence and capability of imagination. 5
Oh mother of the universe, to me who has,
Lost all my knowledge due to order of the teacher,
Be merciful and grant me wisdom, knowledge of Vedas,
Other knowledge and power to teach other students. 6
He who reads this praise of Vani, written,
By Yagnavalkya at least once would become,
Great orator, as intelligent as Brahaspathi,
Greatly learned and a great genius.
It is for sure that he would live a happy life,
As long as the Vedas exist. 7
