1. भवानि मय सिर पथु, ललाटं पञ्चमी थधा,
नेत्रे काम प्रध पथु मुखं भुवन सुन्दरी.
2. नासिकां नारसिंहि च जिह्वम् ज्ञ्वलमुखि तधा,
स्मृथि रूप जगद धात्री ख़रौ, हृद बिन्दु वासिनि.
3. उधरं मोह दमनी, कुण्डली नाभि मण्डले,
अर्स्व पृष्ठ कटी गुह्यं गुह्यस्थान निवासिनि.
4. ऊरु जङ्गे तदा सैव सर्व विज्ञ विनासिनि,
रक्ष रक्ष महा मये पद्मे, पद्मालये, शिवे.
5. वन्चिथं पूरयिथ्रियासु भवानि पथु सर्वथा,
य इधं कवचं देव्या विजनाधि स मन्थर विद.
6. राज द्वरे, स्मासने, भूथ प्रेथ उपचरके,
बन्दने च महा दुखे भये, शत्रु संगमे,
7. स्मरन्तः कवचस्यस्य लभ सर्वथ्र जयथे,
प्रयोगं उपचारं च भवान्य करथु मिचथि.
8. कवचं प्रपदेदधौ तदा सिधि मवप्नुयतः,
पूर्ज पाथरे लिखिथ्व थु कवचं यस्थु दरयेतः.
9. देहे च यत्र कुथ्ररापि सर्व सिधिर भवेतः ध्रुवं,
सस्थ्रस्थ्रेभ्यो भयं नैव भूथथिभ्यो भयं न हि.
10. गुरुभक्थिं समसध्य भवान्या स्थावनं गुरु,
सहस्रनाम पदन कवचं प्रथमं गुरु
11. नन्धिने कदिथं देवी थावग्रे च प्रकसिथं,
संकथ जयथे देवी नान्यध गिरि नान्धिनी.
12. इधं कवचं ज्नथ्व भवान्य स्थोउथि यो नर,
कल्पकोत्ति सथेनभि नब् ह वेतः सिधि धयिनि.

1. భవాని మే సిరా పాతు, లలాటం పంచమి తదా,
నేత్రే కామా ప్రాధ పాతు ముఖం భువన సుందరి.
2. నసికాం నరసిమ్హి చ జిహ్వం జ్వాలాముఖి తధా,
స్మృతి రూప జగద ధాత్రి కరౌ, హృద బిందు వాసిని.
3. ఉదరం మోహ దమనీ, కుండలి నాభి మండలే,
పరస్వా పృష్ట కటీ గుహ్యం గుహ్యస్థాన నివాసిని.
4. ఊరు జంగే తడ శైవ సర్వ విగ్న వినసిని,
రక్షా రక్షా మహా మాయే పదమే, పద్మలయే, శివే.
5. వాంచితం పూరయిత్రియసు భవాని పాతు సార్వత,
య ఇదం కవచం దేవయ విజనది స మంత్ర విద్.
6. రాజ ద్వారే, స్మసనే, భూత ప్రేత ఉపచరకే,
బందనే చ మహా దుఖే భయే, శత్రు సంగామే,
7. స్మరాంత్ కవచాస్యస్య లాభ సర్వత్ర జయతే,
ప్రయోగం ఉపచారం చ భావనయ కర్తు మిచాతి.
8. కవచం ప్రపదేదదౌ తడ సిది మవాప్నుయాత్,
పూర్జ పాత్రే లిఖిత్వా తు కవచం యస్తు దరఎత్.
9. దేహే చ యాత్ర కుత్రరపి సర్వ సిదిర్ భవేత్ ధృవం,
సస్త్రస్త్రేభ్యో భయం నైవ భూతతిభ్యో భయం న హాయ్.
10. గురుభాక్తిం సమాసాద్య భావనయా స్థావనం గురు,
సహస్రనామ పాడనా కవచం ప్రథమం గురు
11. నందినే కదితం దేవి తవగ్రే చ ప్రకసితం,
సంకత జయతే దేవి నన్యద గిరి నందిని.
12. ఇదం కవచం జ్ఞాత్వా భావనయ స్తౌతి యో నారా,
కల్పకొట్టి సతేనభి నాబ్ హ వెత సిది దాయిని.

1. பாவனை மே சிற பாத்து, லலாடம் பஞ்சமி ததா,
நேத்ரே கம பரத பாத்து முக்ஹம் புவனா சுந்தரி.
2. நசிகாம் நரசிம்ஹி ச ஜிஹ்வாம் ஜ்வலமுக்ஹி த்த,
ஸ்ம்ருதி ரூப ஜகாத் தாத்ரி அரௌ, ஹ்ருத் பிண்டு வாசினி.
3. உதரம் முஹ டமநீ, குண்டலி நபிய் மண்டலே,
பர்ச்வா ப்ருஷ்ட கடி குஹ்யம் குஹ்யச்தன நிவாசினி.
4. ஊரு சங்கே தடா சைவ சர்வ விக்ன வினசினி,
ரக்ஷா ரக்ஷா மஹா மே படமே, பத்மலையே, சிவே.
5. வந்சிதம் பூரயித்ரியசு பாவனை பாத்து சர்வத,
யா இதம் கவசம் தேவய விஜநதி ச மந்திர விட.
6. ராஜா தவறே, ச்மசனே, பூத பிரேத உபச்சறகே,
பந்டனே ச மஹா டுக்ஹி பே, சத்ரு சங்கமே,
7. ச்மரந்த் கவச்சச்யச்ய லாபா சர்வத்ர ஜெயதே,
பிரயோகம் உபசாரம் ச பாவனா கரத்து மிச்சத்தி.
8. கவசம் ப்ரபடெடட்ஹௌ தடா சிதி மவப்னுயத்,
பூர்ச பதரே லிக்ஹித்வா து கவசம் யஸ்து தரஎத்.
9. திஹி ச யாத்ரா குத்ரஅரபி சர்வ சிதிர் பவேத் துருவம்,
சச்த்ரச்த்றேபியோ பயம் நைவ போஒததிபியோ பயம் ந ஹாய்.
10. குருபாக்திம் சமசத்யா பாவனா ஸ்தவனம் குரு,
சஹாஸ்ரநம பாடான கவசம் ப்ரதமம் குரு
11. நந்தினே கடிதம் தேவி தவக்ரே ச பிரகாசிதம்,
சங்கத ஜெயதே தேவி நன்யாத கிரி நந்தினி.
12. இதம் கவசம் ஜ்னத்வா பாவனா ஸ்தூதி யோ நர,
கல்பகொட்டி சதேனபிய் நப ஹ வேத சிதி தாயினி.

Nethre Kama pradha pathu mukham Bhuvana Sundari.
2. Nasikaam Narasimhi cha jihwam Jwalamukhi thadha,
Smruthi roopa Jagad dhatri Karou, Hrud Bindu vasini.
3. Udharam moha damanee, Kundali Nabhi mandale,
Parswa prushta katee guhyam guhyasthana nivasini.
4. Ooru Jange thada saiva sarva vigna vinasini,
Raksha raksha maha maye Padme, Padmalaye, Shive.
5. Vanchitham poorayithriyasu Bhavani pathu sarvatha,
Ya idham kavacham devya vijanadhi sa manthra vid.
6. Raja dware, Smasane, Bhootha pretha upacharake,
Bandane cha Maha dukhe Bhaye, Shathru sangame,
7. Smaranth kavachasyasya labha sarvathra jayathe,
Prayogam upacharam cha bhavanya karthu michathi.
8. Kavacham prapadedadhou thada sidhi mavapnuyath,
Poorja pathre likhithwa thu Kavacham yasthu darayeth.
9. Dehe cha yathra kuthrarapi sarva sidhir bhaveth dhruvam,
Sasthrasthrebhyo bhayam naiva bhoothathibhyo bhayam na hi.
10. Gurubhakthim samasadhya Bhavanyaa sthavanam Guru,
Sahasranama padana kavacham prathamam Guru
11. Nandhine kaditham Devi thavagre cha prakasitham,
Sankatha jayathe devi nanyadha Giri Nandhini.
12. Idham kavacham jnathwa BHavanya sthouthi yo nara,
Kalpakotti sathenabhi nab ha veth sidhi dhayini.

1. Let my head be protected by Bhavani,
My forehead be protected by the fifth one,
Let my eyes be protected by she who grants desire,
And let my face by protected by the universe’s prettiest one.
2. Let Narasimhi protect my nose,
Let my toungue be protected by she who has flame as face,
Let the universal mother who is the Vedas protect my hands,
And let my heart be protected by she who lives in the dot of Sri Chakra.
3. Let my lips be protected by she who destroys passion,
Let Kundalee protect my stomach.
And let her who lives secretly protect,
Ribs Back, hip and the private parts.
4. Let she who removes all obstacles protect,
The thigh, knee and all other parts of my body.
Protect and protect, Oh Great enchantress,
Oh lotus flower, Oh Goddess in the lotus, Oh consort of Shiva.
5. If this armour of the Goddess is mastered by an expert in manthra,
Then all his desires would be fulfilled and Bhavani will protect him always.
7. By remembering the armour in the gates of the palace,
Cremation ground, in places of devils and ghosts,
In case of bondage, in case of great sorrow, in presence of enemy,
All sort of profits would be realized everywhere.
Bhavani would desire you to follow proper procedures,
And also treat her with all courtesy and happiness.
9. Even if this armour is taught to another, one would get occult powers,
Even if it is written on the leaf of a tree and worn,
On the body or elsewhere, definitely all powers would be mastered,
And there would not be any fear against weapons,
And there would not be any fear of ghosts and devils.
10. With devotion to guru, it is to be learned from a Guru,
And then the thousand names of Goddess,
Should be recited and this also before the Guru.
11. This armour was told by Nandhi and has been revealed to you,
And would please the Goddess who is the daughter of the mountain.
12. After learning this armour, if a man prays to Goddess Bhavani,
Even in hundreds of eons the Goddess would give him all powers.
