About The Temple :

This temple is situated on the Pandalam – Adoor route at . Koorambala in Pathanamthitta district. The presiding deity is Bhadrakali, and the idol is six feet tall, which is facing east. Poojas are offered twice in a day; following Thazhman Tanthric rites. Sub deities are Yakshi and Marudha. Attam Kettukazhcha during the . Malayalam month of Meenam, and Bharani of the Malayalam month of Medam are special occasions.

The epic says that Pallapilly Valiyachan Vellichapadu has brought the Bhagawathy from Kodungalloor. Olden days, there was a practice of cutting fowls and offering it to the deity. The famous “Adavi” ritual is observed once in every five years.
