Puligundu (Tiger Rock) is a solid granite rock formation situated in Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh along Chittoor to Penumuru road. Created by the forces of nature, the two towers of rock rise up parallel to each other separated by a narrow space. It is a great spot to view picturesque scenery and wild life. There is a Shiva temple and an Ayyapa temple on top. Locals visit in thousands in mid January every year to celebrate 4th day of Makara Sankranthi.
