1. त्रिगुणा थामसि देवी सथ्वीकि या त्रिधोधिथ,
सा सर्वा, चण्डिक, दुर्ग, भद्र हगवथीर्यथे.
2. योगनिध्रा हरेरुक्था महाकाली थामोगुना,
मधु कैदभ नासर्थं यं थुस्थावां अम्बुजसन.
3. दस वक्त्थ्र दस भुजा, दस पदा अञ्जन प्रभा,
विसालाय राजमाना त्रिंस लोचन मलय.
4. स्फुर दसन दंष्ट्रभा, भीम रूपपि भूमिप,
रूप सोउभग्य कन्थिनां सा प्रथिष्ट महास्रियां
5. गद्ग बन गध सूल संख चक्र भूसुन्दिअभ्यतः,
परिघं कर्मुघं शीर्षं निस्चोद्यतः उधिरं दधौ.
6. एषा सा वैष्णवी माया महा कलि दुरथ्याय,
आरधिथा वसीकुर्यतः पूजकर्त्त्हुस चराचरं.
7. सर्व देव सरीरेभ्यो यविर्भ्होथा अमिथप्रभा,
त्रिगुणा सा महालक्ष्मि सक्षतः महिष मर्धिनी.
8. श्र्वेथनन नील भुजा सुस्वेथ स्थान मण्डल,
रक्था मध्या रक्थापादा नील जन्गोर रुन्मधा.
9. सुचिथ्र जगना चित्र मल्यंबर विभूषणा,
चिथ्रनुलेपन कनथि रूप, सोव्भग्य शालिनी.
10. अश्तदसा पूज्या सा सःअस्रभुजा सथि,
आयुधन्यथ्र वक्ष्यन्थे दक्षिनाधार क्रमतः.
11. अक्षमाला च कमलं बनो असि कुलिसं गधा,
चक्रं त्रिशूलं परासु संखो गण्ड च पासक.
12. शक्थि दण्डस चर्म चापं पनपथ्रं कमण्डलु,
अलन्कृथ भुजमेभिरयुद्है कमलासनां,
13. सर्व देव मयं ईसां महालक्ष्मीं इमं, नृप,
पूजयेतः सर्व देवानां स लोकानां परभुर भवेतः.
14. गोउरि देहो समुद्बूथ या सथ्वैक गुणस्राय,
सक्षद श्ररस्वथि प्रोक्था शुम्बसुर निबर्हनि.
15. ढधौ चाश्तबुज्हा बन मुसले सूअ चक्रबूतः,
संखं गण्डं लाङ्गलं च कार्मुकं वसुधदिप.
16. एषा संपूजिथा भक्त्या सर्वग्नथ्वम् प्रयचथि,
निषुम्भमधनि देवी शुम्भासुर निबर्हनि.
17. इथ्युक्थानि स्वरूपनि मूर्थिनां थ्व पार्थिव,
उपासनं जगन्मथु प्रथगसं निशामय.
18. महालक्ष्मीर्यध पूज्या महाकाली सरस्वथि,
दक्षिनोथरयो पूज्ये प्रुष्टथो मिथुन त्रयं.
19. विरिञ्चि स्वरय मध्ये रुद्रो गौर्य च दक्षिणे,
वामे लक्ष्म्या हृषिकेस पुरथो देवथा त्रयं.
20. अश्तदसा भुज मध्ये वामे चास्या दसानन,
दक्षिणे अष्टभुजा, लक्ष्मीर महाथीथि समर्चयेतः.
21. अश्तदसा भुज चैषा यधा पूज्य नराधिप,
दसानन, अष्टभुजा दक्षिनोथरयोस्थाथ.
22. कला मृत्यु च सम्पूज्यौ सर्वारिष्ट प्रसन्थये.
यदा चास्ता भुज पूज्या शुम्बसुर निबर्हनि
23. नवास्या सक्थ्या पूज्य स्थाधा रुद्र विनयकौ,
नमो देव्या इथि स्तोत्रैर महालक्ष्मि समर्चयेतः.
24. अवत्हर त्रयार्चायां स्तोत्र मन्त्रस्थादस्राय,
अष्ट दस भुज चैषा पूज्या महिष मर्धिनी,
25. महालक्ष्मिर महाकाली सैव प्रोक्था श्ररस्वथि,
अस्वरि पुण्य पापानां सर्व लोक महेस्वरि.
26. महिषान्थकारि येन पूजिथ सजगतः प्रभु,
पूजयेतः जगथां दथ्रिं चण्डिकां भक्था वथ्सलं,
27. अर्ग्यधि भिर अलन्करै गन्ध पुष्पि स्थादक्षत्है,
धूपैर धीपैस्च नैवेद्यै, नाना भक्ष्य समन्वित्है.
28. रुधिरक्थेन बलिना मांसेन सुरया नृपा,
प्रनाम अचमनीयेन चन्दनेन सुगन्धिना,
29. सकर्पूरैस्च थंबूलैर भक्थि भव समन्विधौ,
वाम बागे अग्रथो देव्या चिन्नसीर्षं महासुरं.
30. पूजयेन महिषं येन प्रप्थं सायुज्यं मीसया,
दक्षिणे पुराथ सिंहं समागम धर्म मीस्वरम्.
31. वाहनान पूजये देव्या दृथं येन चराचरं,
य कुर्यतः प्रयथो धीम्मन थस्य एकाग्रमनस.
32. थथ कृथञ्जलिर भूथ्व स्थुवीथ चरिथैर इमि,
एकेन वा मध्यमेन नैकेनथरयोरिह
33. चरिथर्धन्थु न जपेतः जपं चिद्रमवप्नुयतः,
प्रदक्षिणं नमसकरान क्रुथ्वमूर्ध्नि कृथञ्जली.
34. क्षमापये जगद धात्रीं मुहुर मुहुरथ्रिन्दथ,
पथि स्लोकञ्च जुहुयतः पायसं, थिल्स सर्पिषा.
35. जुहुयतः स्तोत्र मन्थ्रैर वा चण्डिकायै शुभं हवि
नमो नाम पदैर देवीं पूजयेतः सुसमहिथ.
36. परायाथ प्राञ्जली प्रह्व प्रन्म्योरप्य चथ्मनि,
सुचिरं भावयद ईसां चण्डिकां थान्मयो भवेतः.
37. येवं य पूजयेतः भक्त्या प्रथ्याहं परमेश्वरिम्,
बुक्था कामान यध कामं देवी सयुज्यमप्नुयतः.
38. यो न पूजयेतः नित्यं चण्डिकां भक्था वथ्सलां,
बस्मि कृथ्यस्या पुण्यानि निर्दहेतः अरमेस्वरि.
39. थास्माद पूज्य भूपाल सर्व लोक महेस्वरिम्,
यदोक्थेन विधानेन चण्डिकां सुखमाप्स्यसि.
वैकृथिक रहस्यं समप्थं
.
1. త్రిగుణా తమసి దేవి సత్వీకి యా త్రిదోదిత,
సా సర్వా, చండిక, దుర్గ, భద్ర భాగావతీర్యతే.
2. యోగనిద్రా హరేరుక్తా మహాకాళి తమోగునా,
మధు కైదభ నసర్థం యమ తుస్తవాం అంబుజాసన.
3. దాస వక్త్త్ర దాస భుజా, దాస పదా అంజన ప్రభ,
విసాలాయ రాజమణ ట్రిమస లోచన మలయ.
4. స్ఫూర దసన దంష్ట్రభా, భీమ రూపపి భూమిప,
రూప సౌభాగ్య కన్తినాం సా ప్రతిష్ట మహాశ్రియాం
5. గడగ బన గాధ శూల సంఖా చక్ర భూసున్దిఅభ్యత్,
పరిఘం కర్ముఘం శీర్షం నిస్చోద్యత్ ఉదిరం దదౌ.
6. ఇషా సా వైష్ణవి మాయా మహా కలి దురత్యయ,
ఆరదితా వసీకుర్యత్ పూజకర్త్తుస్ చరాచరం.
7. సర్వ దేవ సరీరేభ్యో యవిర్భ్హోతా అమితప్రభా,
త్రిగుణా సా మహాలక్ష్మి సాక్షాత్ మహిష మర్ధిని.
8. స్వేతనన నీల భుజా సుస్వేత స్థాన మండల,
రక్త మధ్యా రక్తపాడా నీల జన్గోర రున్మదా.
9. సుచిత్ర జగనా చిత్ర మల్యంబర విభూశానా,
చిత్రనులేపన కాంతి రూప, సౌభాగ్య శాలిని.
10. అష్టదాస పూజ్యా సా సహస్రభుజా సతి,
ఆయుధన్యత్ర వక్ష్యన్తే దక్షినాదార క్రమాత్.
11. అక్షమాల చ కమలం బానో అసి కులిసం గదా,
చక్రం త్రిశూలం పరాసు సంఖో గండ చ పసక.
12. శక్తి దందాస్ చర్మ చాపం పనపత్రం కమండలు,
అలంకృత భుజమేభిరయుదై కమలసనాం,
13. సర్వ దేవ మాయం ఈసం మహాలక్ష్మిం ఇమం, నృప,
పూజయేత్ సర్వ దేవానాం స లోకానాం ప్రభుర్ భవేత్.
14. గౌరీ దేహో సముద్బూత యా సాత్విక గునశ్రాయ,
సాక్షాద్ సరస్వతి ప్రోక్త శుమ్బాసుర నిబర్హని.
15. దదౌ చాష్టబుజ్హా బన ముసలె సోఅ చక్రబూత్,
సంఖం గండం లంగళం చ కార్ముకం వసుధదిప.
16. ఇషా సంపూజితా భక్త్యా సర్వజ్ఞత్వం ప్రయచాతి,
నిశుమ్భామదని దేవి శుమ్భాసుర నిబర్హని.
17. ఇత్యుక్తని స్వరూపాని మూర్తినాం తవ పార్థివ,
ఉపసనం జగన్మతు ప్రతగాసం నిసమయ.
18. మహాలక్ష్మీర్యద పూజ్యా మహాకాళి సరస్వతి,
దక్షినోతరాయో పూజ్యే ప్రుష్టతో మిథున త్రయం.
19. విరించి స్వరాయ మధ్యే రుద్రో గురయ చ దక్షిణే,
వామే లక్ష్మ్యా హ్రిశికేస పురతో దేవతా త్రయం.
20. అష్టదాస భుజ మధ్యే వామే చస్యా దశానన,
దక్షిణే అష్టభుజ, లక్ష్మీర్ మహాతీతి సమర్చఎత్.
21. అష్టదాస భుజ చైషా యదా పూజ్య నరాధిప,
దశానన, అష్టభుజ దక్షినోతరయోస్తత.
22. కల మృత్యు చ సంపూజ్యౌ సర్వారిష్ట ప్రసంతాయే.
యద చస్తా భుజ పూజ్యా శుమ్బాసుర నిబర్హని
23. నవస్యా సక్త్యా పూజ్య స్తదా రుద్రా వినయకౌ,
నమో దేవ్యా ఇతి స్తోత్రైర్ మహాలక్ష్మి సమర్చఎత్.
24. అవతార త్రయార్చాయాం స్తోత్ర మంత్రస్తదశ్రాయ,
అష్ట దాస భుజ చైషా పూజ్యా మహిష మర్ధిని,
25. మహాలక్ష్మీర్ మహాకాళి శైవ ప్రోక్తా సరస్వతి,
ఎఅస్వరి పుణ్య పాపానాం సర్వ లోక మహేశ్వరీ.
26. మహిశంతకరి యేన పూజిత సజగాత్ ప్రభు,
పూజయేత్ జగతాం దాత్రీం చందికం భక్త వత్సలం,
27. అర్గ్యది భీర్ అలంకరి గంధ పుష్పి స్థాదక్షతై,
దూపైర్ దీపైస్చ్ నైవేద్యై, నన భక్ష్య సమంవితై.
28. రుదిరక్తేన బలినా మంసేన సురయా నృపా,
ప్రాణమ ఆచమనీఎన చందనేన సుగందినా,
29. సకర్పూరైస్చ తంబూలైర్ భక్తి భావ సమంవిదౌ,
వామ బాగే అగ్రతో దేవ్యా చిన్నసీర్షం మహాసురం.
30. పూజఎన్ మహిషం యేన ప్రాప్తం సాయుజ్యం మీసయా,
దక్షిణే పురత సింహం సమాగం ధర్మ మీస్వరం.
31. వాహనాన్ పూజయే దేవ్యా ద్రుతం యేన చరాచరం,
య కుర్యాత్ ప్రయతో దీమ్మన్ తస్య ఏకాగ్రమనస.
32. తథా క్రుతంజలిర్ భూత్వా స్తువీత చరితైర్ ఇమై,
ఏకేన వా మధ్యమేనా నైకేనతరయోరిహ
33. చరితర్ధంతు న జపేత్ జపం చిద్రమవప్నుయత్,
ప్రదక్షిణం నమసకరాన్ క్రుత్వమూర్ద్ని కృతాంజలి.
34. క్షమాపాయే జగద దాత్రీం ముహూర్ ముహురత్రిన్దత,
పతి స్లోకంచ జుహుయత్ పాయసం, తిల్స్ సర్పిషా.
35. జుహుయత్ స్తోత్ర మంత్రైర్ వా చందికయై శుభం హవి
నమో నమ పదైర్ దేవీం పూజయేత్ సుసమహిత.
36. ప్రయత ప్రాంజలి ప్రహ్వ ప్రన్మ్యోరప్య చాత్మని,
సుచిరం భావయాద్ ఈసం చందికం తన్మయో భవేత్.
37. ఏవం య పూజయేత్ భక్త్యా ప్రత్యహం పరమేశ్వరీం,
బుక్త కామాన్ యధా కామం దేవి సయుజ్యమప్నుయత్.
38. యో న పూజయేత్ నిత్యం చందికం భక్త వత్సలాం,
బాస్మి క్రుత్యస్యా పుణ్యాని నిర్దాహేత్ పరమేశ్వరి.
39. తస్మాద్ పూజ్య భూపాల సర్వ లోక మహేస్వరిం,
యదోక్తేన విధానేన చందికాం సుఖమప్స్యాసి.

மது கைடபா நாசர்தம் யாம் துச்தவாம் அம்புஜசன.
3. தச வக்த்த்ற தச பூஜா, தச படா அஞ்சனா பிரபா,

12. ஷக்தி டன்டாஸ் சர்மா சாபம் பணபத்ரம் கமண்டலு,
அலங்க்ருத புஜமேபிரயுதை கமலசனாம்,

16. இஷா சம்பூஜிதா பக்த்யா சர்வஞத்வம் ப்ரயச்சதி,
நிஷும்பாமதனி தேவி ஷும்பாசுற நிபர்ஹனி.
17. இத்யுக்தனி ச்வரூபணி மூர்தினாம் தவ பார்த்திவ,
உபாசனம் ஜகன்மது பிரதகசம் நிசமாய.
18. மகாலக்ஷ்மீர்யாத பூஜா மக்களை சரஸ்வதி,
டக்ஷிநோதரையோ பூஜே ப்ருஷ்டதோ மிதுன த்ரயம்.
19. விரிஞ்சி சுவரைய மத்யே ருத்ரோ குர்யா ச தக்ஷிணே,
வமே லக்ஷ்ம்யா ஹ்ரிஷிகேச புறதோ தேவதா த்ரயம்.
20. அஷ்டடச பூஜா மத்யே வாமே சாசா தாசனான,
தக்ஷிணே அஷ்டபுஜ, லக்ஷ்மீர் மகாதீதி சமர்ச்சஎத்.
21. அஷ்டடச பூஜா சைஸா யதா பூஜ்ய நரதிப,
தாசனான, அஷ்டபுஜ டக்ஷிநோதரயோச்தாதா.
22. கல ம்ருத்யு ச ஸம்போஜ்யௌ சர்வரிஷ்ட பிரசந்தையே.

24. அவதார திருயாற்சாயாம் ச்டோற்ற மன்றச்தடஸ்ரைய,
அஷ்ட தச பூஜா சைஸா பூஜா மகிஷா மர்தினி,

பூஜயேத் ஜகதாம் டத்ரிம் சந்டிகம் பாக்த வத்சலம்,
27. அற்ஞதி பீர் அலங்கரி கந்த புஷ்பை ச்தடக்ஷதை,
தூபைர் தீபைச்ச் நைவேட்யை, நானா பாக்ஷ்ய சமன்விதை.
28. ருதிரக்தென பாலினா மம்சென சுரா நருபா,
ப்ரணாம அச்சமநீஎன சந்டநென சுகந்தினா,
29. சகர்பூரைச்ச்ச தம்பூளைர் பக்தி பாவ ஸமந்விட்ஹௌ,
வம பகே ஆக்ராதோ தேவா சின்னசீர்ஷம் மகாசுரம்.
30. பூஜஎன் மகிஷம் என ப்ராப்தம் சாயுஜ்யம் மீசையா,
தக்ஷிணே புரத சிம்ஹம் சமகம் தர்ம மீச்வரம்.
31. வஹணன் பூஜையே தேவா திருத்தம் என சரச்சரம்,
யா குரித் பிரயதோ தீம்மன் தஸ்ய ஏகக்ராமனச.
32. தாதா க்ருதஞ்சளிர் போஒத்வா ச்துவீத சரிதைர் இமை,
ஏகென வா மத்யமென நைக்கெனதரயோரிஹா
33. சரிதர்தந்து ந ஜபேத் ஜபம் சிட்ரமவப்னுயத்,
ப்ரடக்ஷினம் நமசகரன் க்ருத்வமூர்த்னி க்ருதஞ்சலி.
34. க்ஷமாபாய் ஜகாத் தட்ரிம் முஹூர் முஹுரத்ரின்டாத,
பத்தி ச்லோகஞ்ச சுஹுயத் பாயசம், தில்ஸ் சர்பிஷா.
35. சுஹுயத் ச்டோற்ற மந்த்ரைர் வா சண்டிகை சுபம் ஹவி
நமோ நாம படீர் தேவும் பூஜயேத் சுசமஹித.
36. பிரயத்த ப்ரஞ்சலி ப்ரகுவா ப்ரன்ம்யோரப்ய சத்மணி,
சுசிரம் பாவயாத் ஈசாம் சந்டிகம் தன்மையோ பவேத்.
37. எவம் யா பூஜயேத் பக்த்யா பிரத்யஹம் பரமேஸ்வரிம்,
பக்த காமான் யாத காமம் தேவி சயுஜ்யமப்னுயத்.
38. யோ ந பூஜயேத் நித்யம் சந்டிகம் பாக்த வத்சலாம்,
பாசமி க்ருத்யச்யா புன்யானி நிர்டஹெத் பரமேஸ்வரி.
39. தஸ்மாத் பூஜைய பஹுபல சர்வ லோக மகேஸ்வரும்,
யடோக்தென விதநென சந்டிகாம் சுக்ஹமப்ச்யசி.

6. Eshaa saa Vaishnavi maayaa Maha Kali durathyaya,
Aaradhithaa vaseekuryath poojakartthus characharam.
7. Sarva deva sareerebhyo yavirbhhothaa amithaprabhaa,
Trigunaa saa Mahalakshmi Sakshath Mahisha mardhini.
8. Swethanana neela bhujaa suswetha sthana mandala,
Raktha madhyaa rakthapaadaa neela jangora runmadhaa.
9. Suchithra jaganaa chithra malyambara vibhooshanaa,
Chithranulepana kanthi roopa, sowbhagya shalini.
10. Ashtadasa poojyaa saa sahasrabhujaa sathi,
Aayudhanyathra vakshyanthe dakshinaadhaara kramath.
11. Akshamala cha Kamalam bano asi kulisam gadhaa,
Chakram trisoolam parasu sankho ganda cha pasaka.
12. Shakthi dandas charma chapam panapathram kamandalu,
Alankrutha bhujamebhirayudhai kamalasanaam,
13. Sarva deva mayam eesaam Mahalakshmim imam, nrupa,
Poojayeth sarva devanaam sa lokaanaam prabhur bhaveth.
14. Gouri deho samudbootha yaa sathwaika gunasraya,
Sakshad Saraswathi proktha shumbasura nibarhani.
15. Dhadhou chashtabujhaa bana musale sooa chakrabooth,
Sankham gandaam langalam cha karmukam vasudhadipa.
16. Eshaa sampoojithaa bhakthyaa sarvagnathwam prayachathi,
Nishumbhamadhani devi Shumbhasura nibarhani.
17. Ithyukthani swaroopani moorthinaam thava parthiva,
Upasanam jaganmathu prathagasam nisamaya.
18. Mahalakshmeeryadha poojyaa Mahakali Saraswathi,
Dakshinotharayo poojye prushtatho mithuna thrayam.
19. Virinchi swaraya madhye Rudro Gaurya cha Dakshine,
Vame Lakshmyaa Hrishikesa puratho devathaa thrayam.
20. Ashtadasa bhuja madhye vaame chasyaa dasanana,
Dakshine ashtabhuja, Lakshmir mahatheethi samarchayeth.
21. Ashtadasa bhuja chaishaa yadhaa poojya naradhipa,
Dasanana, ashtabhuja dakshinotharayosthatha.
22. Kala mruthyu cha sampoojyou sarvarishta prasanthaye.
Yada Chasta bhuja poojyaa Shumbasura nibarhani
23. Navasyaa sakthyaa poojya sthadhaa Rudra vinayakou,
Namo devyaa ithi stotrair Mahalakshmi samarchayeth.
24. Avathara trayaarchaayaam stotra mantrasthadasraya,
Ashta dasa bhuja chaishaa poojyaa mahisha mardhini,
25. Mahalakshmir Mahakali saiva prokthaa Saraswathi,
Easwari punya paapaanaam sarva loka Maheswari.
26. Mahishanthakari yena poojitha sajagath Prabhu,
Poojayeth jagathaam dathrim Chandikam bhaktha vathsalam,
27. Argyadhi bhir alankarai gandha pushpai sthadakshathai,
Dhoopair dheepaisch naivedyai, nana bhakshya samanvithai.
28. Rudhirakthena balinaa mamsena surayaa nrupaa,
Pranama achamaneeyena Chandanena Sugandhinaa,
29. Sakarpooraischa Thamboolair bhakthi bhava samanvidhou,
Vama Bage agratho devyaa chinnaseersham mahasuram.
30. Poojayen mahisham yena praptham sayujyam meesayaa,
Dakshine puratha simham samagam dharma meeswaram.
31. Vahanan poojaye devyaa drutham yena characharam,
Ya kuryath prayatho dheemman thasya ekagramanasa.
32. Thatha kruthanjalir bhoothwa sthuveetha charithair imai,
Ekena vaa madhyamena naikenatharayoriha
33. Charithardhanthu na japeth japam chidramavapnuyath,
Pradakshinam namasakaran kruthwamoordhni kruthanjali.
34. Kshamaapaye Jagad dhatrim muhur muhurathrindatha,
Pathi slokancha juhuyath Payasam, thils sarpishaa.
35. Juhuyath stotra manthrair vaa Chandikayai Shubham havi
Namo nama padair devim poojayeth susamahitha.
36. Prayatha pranjali prahwa pranmyorapya chathmani,
Suchiram bhavayad eesaam Chandikam thanmayo bhaveth.
37. Yevam ya poojayeth bhakthyaa prathyaham parameshwarim,
Buktha kaamaan yadha kaamam devi sayujyamapnuyath.
38. Yo na poojayeth nithyam Chandikam bhaktha vathsalaam,
Basmi kruthyasyaa punyaani nirdaheth Parameswari.
39. Thasmad poojaya bhoopala sarva loka maheswarim,
Yadokthena vidhanena Chandikaam sukhamapsyasi.

That Goddess Mahalakshmi with three types of qualities,
That Mahakali with base quality
And Mahasaraswathi with Sathwika (good) qualities,
Have been told as three aspects of the Goddess,
And are also called by several names like Sarva, Chandika.
Durga, Bhadra and Bhagwathi*
*All these names are feminine without any relation to masculine aspect.
That Goddess prayed to by Lord Brahma,
For killing of the two asuras Madhu and Kaidaba,
Is the Goddess with base qualities called Mahakali.
That Goddess with ten faces, ten arms,
Ten legs and shining like black stone,
Shines with her very broad thirty eyes.
Hey king, Though she has a terrifying form with shining teeth and protruding teeth,
She is also the store house of pretty luster and great auspiciousness.
That Goddess who wears weapons such as sword, arrow,
Mace, conch, holy wheel, pistol, iron rod and bow,
Wears cut heads with blood flowing out of them,
And she who is the Vishnumaya, is the Mahakali who can never be attacked,
And the entire world will be under the control of those who worship her.
That goddess who came out of the bodies of all devas with great luster,
Is the real killer of Mahishasura and is the Mahalakshmi with all the three qualities
She has a clear face, blue arms, very white coloured breasts,
Red coloured middle part, red coloured feet, blue thighs and drunk with power.
She has a pretty behind and wears various pretty necklaces and ornaments,
And is prettily made up and is lucky with great luster and great form.
Though she has thousands of arms, she was worshipped with eighteen arms,
And the weapons that she holds is listed from her lowermost right hand.
Oh king, if that Mahalakshmi who is the form of all devas sits in a lotus pose
As lord of all, and holds in her arms, rosary, lotus flower, arrow,
Sword, Vajrayudha, mace, holy wheel, trident, axe, conch
Bell, rope, spear, Rod, shield, bow, drinking vessel and water pot
Is worshipped by any one, he would become lord of all the world and all devas.
She who was full of satwa nature, rose from the body of Gauri,
And killed Shumbasura and she was called Mahasaraswathi.
Oh king, that Goddess was having eight hands and carried in them,
Arrow, pestle, trident, holy wheel, conch, bell, plough and bow.
She who killed Nishumbha as well as Shumbhasura,
If worshipped with devotion would give knowledge of everything.
Oh king, thus I told you about the form of the three Goddesses,
And now please hear the mode of worship of the mother of universe,
And also the other goddesses separately.
Whenever Mahalakshmi is worshipped, on her left and right,
We have to worship Mahakali and Saraswathi,
And on her back the three couples have to be kept.
In the middle we have to keep Brahma and Saraswathi,
On the right Shiva and Parvathi and on the left Lakshmi and Vishnu.
In the middle we have to worship the eighteen armed Mahalakshmi,
And on her left the ten faced Mahakali and on her right the eight armed Maha Saraswathi,
But the main worship is to Goddess Mahalakshmi.
Hey, king When the eighteen armed one, the ten faced one,
And the eight armed one are being worshipped, then,
It is necessary to worship God of death and death,
On the left and right for fulfillment of our wishes.
When the eight armed one who killed Shumbasura is being worshipped,
Then her nine powers as well Rudra and Lord Ganapathi,
Also should be worshipped on the left and the right,
And Goddess Mahalakshmi should be worshipped,
With the prayer starting with “salutation to Goddess”
When you are worshipping Mahalakshnmi and Mahakali,
The prayer and chants should be the one which are meant for them,
But it is greatly necessary to worship the eighteen armed,
Killer of Mahishasura for Mahalakshmi is also Mahakali and Saraswathi,
And is also the goddesses for sins as well as auspicious deeds,
And it is said that Mahalakshmi is the Goddess of entire universe.
He who worships the killer of Mahishasura would become lord of the universe,
If he worships Chandika, the mother of the universe and lover of her devotees,
With offer of water, decoration, sandal paste, flowers, rice,
Incense, lamps, food offering as well as various food items.
Oh king, That Mahalakshmi should be worshipped with devotion,
Salutation, Aachamana, sandal paste with good aroma,
As well as with camphor, betel leaf and nut.
On the left of the Goddess, we have to worship,
The headless Mahishasura who after the war with the Goddess,
Became one with her holy self.
That intelligent one who worships that Goddess,
With concentrated mind, should worship the lion.
The steed of the Goddess, who is on the front left of the Goddess,
For he has carried her who is the entire universe,
And is like a god who personifies all Dharma.
After that along with hands clasped in salute, he has to pray,
Using the first section, middle section and the last section of Devi Mahatmyam,
Or at least pray using the middle section only and it is important to know,
That he should not pray using either first or last section only,
Or only half of any of the sections as it will lead to problems.
Then he should to perambulations and salute (namaskaram),
And holding his hands clasped over his head,
And with all the senses in complete control,
He should request the pardon of the Goddess who wears the universe.
Aiming at pleasing Goddess Chandika, along with every verse,
He has to offer either gingelly or ghee or kheer (Payasam) to the fire,
Or at least offer cooked rice (havis) cleaned by slokas and manthras.,
Then with a concentrated mind along with chanting “Namo Nama”,
He has to worship the goddess and along with humility fold the hand in salute,
And salute the Chandika the lord of the entire universe,
And later meditating deeply on the form of Lord Rudra,
If he spends a lot of time, then he would become goddess personified.
If any one does this type of worship to the greatest Goddess daily,
He would realized all his desires and reach the presence of Goddess.
He who does not daily worship Goddess Chandika who is partial,
To her devotees, would find that effect of all his good deeds,
Are burnt away by the Goddess completely.
So hey king, worship Goddess Chandika who is the chief,
Of all the worlds and all the pleasures would come to you.
Thus ends the secret of causal change.
