Composer: Dhurjati (or Dhoorjati) (Telugu: ధూర్జటి) (15th and 16th centuries, CE) was a Telugu poet. He was born to Singamma and Narayana in Sri Kalahasti and was the grandson of Jakkayya. He was a great devotee of lord Shiva, also known as Kalahasteeshwara. O Lord! One with feet cleansed by none other than Vishnu! I cannot throw mountain stones at you to force you appear, I cannot offer my son as sacrifice like Bhakta Siriyal, I cannot pluck my eyes and put them on your linga like Bhakta Tinna. Then how do I express my devotion to you?
