1. नृसिंह कवचंवक्ष्ये प्रःलोधेनोधिथं पुरा,
सर्व रक्षाकरं पुण्यं, सर्वोपद्रव नासनं
2. सर्व सप्तः करं चैव स्वर्ग मोक्ष प्रधयकं,
ढ्यथ्व नरसिंहं देवेशं हेम सिंहासन स्थिथं.
3. विव्र्य्थास्यां त्रिनयनं, शरद इन्दु समा प्रभं,
लक्ष्म्यालिङ्गिथ वमन्गं, विभूथिरुपस्रिथं.
4. चथुर भुजं कोमलाङ्गं श्र्वर्न कुण्डल शोभिथं,
सरोजशोभिथोरस्कं रथन केयूर मुधृथं.
5. थापथ काञ्चन संकसं पीठ निर्मल वाससां,
इन्द्रधि सुर मोउलिस्थ स्फुरन माणिक्य दीप्थिभि.
6. विरजिथ पद द्वन्द्वम् शङ्का चक्रधि हेथिभि
गरुत्ह्मथा सविनयं स्थुयमानं मुधन्विथम्.
7. श्र्वह्रुथ् कमल संवासं क्रुथ्व थु कवचं पदेतः,
नृसिंहो मय द्रुसौ पथु लोक रक्षनथ्म संभव.
8. सर्वगो अपि स्थम्भ वास फलं मय रक्षथु द्वनिम्,
नृसिंहो मय द्रुसौ पथु सोम सुर्यग्नि लोचन.
9. स्मृथिं मय पथु न्र्हरिर मुनि वरय स्थुथिप्रिय,
नासां मय सिम्हनसथु, मुखं लक्ष्मी मुख प्रिय.
10. सर्व विध्यधिप पथु नृसिंहो रसानां मम,
वक्त्रं पथु इन्धु वदन सदा प्रह्लाद वन्धिथ.
11. नृसिंह पथु मय कन्दं, स्कन्धौ भू भरनन्थ कृतः,
दिव्यस्थ्र शोभिथ भुजो नृसिंह पथु मय भुजौ.
12. ख़रौ मय देव वर्धो, नृसिंह पथु सर्वध,
हृदयं योगी सद्ष्यस्च, निवासं पथु मय हरि.
13. मध्यं पथु हिरण्याक्ष, वक्ष कुक्षि विदरणा,
नाभिं मय पथु नृहरि, स्व नाभि ब्रह्म संस्थुथा.
14. ब्रह्माण्ड कोट्य कट्यां यस्यसौ पथु मय कटिं,
गुह्यं मय पथू गुह्यानां मन्थ्रानां गुह्य रूप दृक्.
15. ऊरु मनोभव पथु जःनुनि नर रूप दृक्,
जङ्गे पथु धरा भर हार्था यो अस औ नृकेसरी.
16. सुर राज्य प्रध पथु पधौ मय न्रुहरेस्वर,
सहस्र शीर्षा पुरुष पथु मय सर्व सस थानुं.
17. महोग्र पूर्वथा पथु महा वीरग्रजो अग्निथ,
महा विष्णु दक्षिणे थु महा ज्वलस्थु नैर्यथि.
18. पश्चिमे पथु सर्वेसो, दिसि मय सर्वथो मुख,
नृसिंह पथु वायव्यां, सोउम्यं भूषण विग्रह.
19. ईशान्यो पथु भद्रो मय, सर्व मङ्गल धयक,
संश्र भयध पथु मृथ्योर मृथ्युस नृकेसरी.
20. इधं नृसिंह कवचं, प्रःलाध मुख मन्दिथं,
भथिमान य पदेन नित्यं सर्व पापं प्रुमुच्यथे.
21. पुथ्रवान, धनवान लोके दीर्ग आयुर उप जयथे,
यं यं कमयथे कामं थं थं प्रप्नोन्स्थ्यसंसयं.
22. सर्वथ्र जयं आप्नोथि, स्रवथ्र विजयी भवेतः,
भ्होम्यन्थरीक्ष दिव्यानां ग्रहाणां विनी वरणं.
23. वृस्चिको राग संभूथ विष अप हरणं परम्,
ब्रह्म राक्षस यक्षाणां धूरोथ्सारण करणं.
24. भूर्जे वा थल पाथरे वा कवचं लिखिथं शुभं,
कर मूले दृथं येन सिध्येयु कर्म सिध्ये.
25. देवासुरा मनुष्येषु स्वम् स्वमेव जयं लभेतः,
येका संध्यां त्रिसन्ध्यं वा य पदेन नियथो नर.
26. सर्व मङ्गल मङ्गल्यं, भुथिं, मुय्क्थिं च विन्दथि,
ड्वथ्रिम्सद् सहस्राणि पदेतः शुधत्मनां नृणां.
27. कवचयस्य मन्थरस्य मन्थर सिधि प्रजयथे,
अनेन मन्थर राजेन क्रुथ्व भास मभि मन्थ्राणां.
28. थिलकं विन्यसेद यस्थु थस्य ग्रहं भयं हरेतः,
त्रिवरे जपमनस्थु दत्तं वरिभ्य मन्थ्र्य च.
29. प्रसयेध्यो नरो मन्त्रं, नृसिंह ध्यनमचरेदः,
थस्य रोग प्रनस्यन्थि ये च स्यु कुक्षि संभवा.
30. किमथ्र बहु नोक्थेन नृसिंह सदृशो भवेतः,
मनसा चिन्थिथं यथु स थाचप्नोथ्य संशयं.
31. गर्जन्थं गर्जयन्थं निज भुज पातालं स्फोतयन्थं तन्थं,
रूप्यन्थं थापयन्थं धिवि भुवि धिथिजं क्षोपयन्थं क्षिपन्थं,
क्रन्थन्थं रोषयन्थं दिसि दिसि सथथं संहरन्थं भरन्थं,
विक्षन्थं घूर्णयन्थं सर निकर सथैर दिव्य सिंहं नमामि.

1. నృసింహ కవచంవక్ష్యే ప్రహ్లోదేనోదితం పురా,
సర్వ రాక్షకరం పుణ్యం, సర్వోపద్రవ నాశనం
2. సర్వ సపత్ కరం చైవ స్వర్గ మోక్ష ప్రదాయకం,
ధ్యాత్వా నరసింహం దేవేసం హేమ సింహాసన స్థితం.
3. వివ్ర్య్తాస్యాం త్రినయనం, శరద్ ఇందు సమ ప్రభం,
లక్ష్మ్యాలింగిత వమంగం, విభూతిరుపశ్రితం.
4. చతుర్ భుజం కొమలంగం స్వర్ణ కుండల శోభితం,
సరోజశోభితోరస్కం రత్న కేయూర ముద్రితం.
5. తప్త కాంచన సంకాశం పీత నిర్మల వసాసం,
ఇంద్రాది సుర మౌలిస్త స్ఫురన్ మాణిక్య దీప్తిభి.
6. విరాజిత పద ద్వంద్వం శంక చక్రాది హేతిభి
గరుత్మతా సవినయం స్తుయమానం ముదంవితం.
7. స్వహృత్ కమల సంవాసం కృత్వా తు కవచం పదేత్,
నృసిమ్హో మే ద్రుసౌ పాతు లోక రక్షణాత్మ సంభావ.
8. సర్వాగో ఆపి స్థంభ వస ఫలం మే రక్షతు ధ్వనిం,
నృసిమ్హో మే ద్రుసౌ పాతు సోమ సుర్యగ్ని లోచన.
9. స్మ్రుతిం మే పాతు నృహరిర్ ముని వార్య స్తుతిప్రియ,
నాసాం మే సింహనసతు, ముఖం లక్ష్మి ముఖ ప్రియ.
10. సర్వ విధ్యదిప పాతు నృసిమ్హో రస్నాం మామ,
వక్త్రం పాతు ఇందు వాదన సద ప్రహ్లాద వందిత.
11. నృసింహ పాతు మే కాండం, స్కంధౌ భూ భారనంత కృత,
దివ్యాస్త్రా శోభిత భుజో నృసింహ పాతు మే భుజౌ.
12. కరౌ మే దేవ వరదో, నృసింహ పాతు సర్వదా,
హృదయం యోగి సద్ష్యస్చ, నివాసం పాతు మే హరి.
13. మద్యం పాతు హిరణ్యాక్ష, వక్ష కుక్షి విడరనా,
నాభిం మే పాతు నృహరి, స్వ నాభి బ్రహ్మ సంస్తుతా.
14. బ్రహ్మాండ కోటయ కాత్యం యస్యసౌ పాతు మే కటిం,
గుహ్యం మే పథూ గుహ్యానాం మంత్రానాం గుహ్య రూప దృక.
15. ఊరు మనోభావ పాతు జహ్నుని నారా రూప దృక,
జంగే పాతు ధారా భర హర్తా యో అస్ ఔ నృకేసరి.
16. సుర రాజ్య ప్రాధ పాతు పాదౌ మే నృహరేశ్వర,
సహస్ర శీర్షా పురుష పాతు మే సర్వ సాస్ తనుం.
17. మహోగ్ర పూర్వత పాతు మహా వీరగ్రజో అగ్నిత,
మహా విష్ణు దక్షిణే తు మహా జ్వలస్తూ నైర్యతి.
18. పశ్చిమే పాతు సర్వేసో, డిసి మే సర్వతో ముఖ,
నృసింహ పాతు వాయవ్యం, సౌమ్యం భూషణ విగ్రహ.
19. ఈశంయో పాతు భద్రో మే, శ్రావ మంగళ దాయక,
సంసర భయద పాతు మృత్యోర్ మ్రుత్యుస్ నృకేసరి.
20. ఇదం నృసింహ కవచం, ప్రహ్లాద ముఖ మండితం,
భాతిమన్ య పాడెన్ నిత్యం సర్వ పాపం ప్రుముచ్యతే.
21. పుత్రవన్, ధనవాన్ లోకే దీర్గ ఆయుర్ ఉప జయతే,
యమ యమ కామయతే కామం తం తం ప్రప్నోన్స్త్యసంసయం.
22. సర్వత్ర జయం ఆప్నోతి, స్రవత్ర విజయీ భవేత్,
భ్హోమ్యన్తరీక్ష దివ్యానాం గ్రహానాం విని వరణం.
23. వ్రుస్చికో రాగా సంభూత విష అప హరణం పరం,
బ్రహ్మ రాక్షస యక్షానాం దూరోత్సారణ కారణం.
24. భుర్జే వా తల పాత్రే వా కవచం లిఖితం శుభం,
కర మూలే ద్రుతం యేన సిధ్యేయు కర్మ సిధాయే.
25. దేవాసుర మనుష్యేషు స్వం స్వమేవ జయం లభేత్,
ఏక సంధ్యాం త్రిసంధ్యం వా య పాడెన్ నియతో నారా.
26. సర్వ మంగళ మాంగల్యం, భుతిం, ముయ్క్తిం చ విన్దతి,
ద్వాత్రిమ్సాద్ సహస్రాణి పదేత్ శుధత్మనాం నృణాం.
27. కవచయస్య మంత్రస్య మంత్ర సిది ప్రజయతే,
అనేనా మంత్ర రాజేనా కృత్వా భాష మభి మంత్రణం.
28. తిలకం విన్యసేడ్ యస్తు తస్య గ్రహం భయం హరేత్,
త్రివారే జపమనస్తూ డతం వరిభ్య మంత్ర్య చ.
29. ప్రసఎధ్యో నరో మంత్రం, నృసింహ ధ్యానమచారేద్,
తస్య రోగ ప్రనస్యంతి ఏ చ స్యు కుక్షి సంభవా.
30. కిమత్ర బహు నొక్తేన నృసింహ సద్రుసో భవేత్,
మానస చిన్తితం యతు స తచాప్నోత్య సంశయం.
31. గర్జంతం గర్జయంతం నిజ భుజ పటలం స్ఫోతయంతం హతంతం,
రూప్యంతం తపయంతం దివి భువి దితిజం క్షోపయంతం క్షిపంతం,
క్రంతంతం రోశాయంతం డిసి డిసి సతతం సంహరంతం భారంతం,
విక్షంతం ఘూర్నయంతం శర నికర సతైర్ దివ్య సింహం నమామి.

கருத்மதா சவிநயம் ச்துயமணம் முதன்விதம்.
7. ச்வஹ்ருத் கமலா சம்வசம் க்ருத்வா து கவசம் படத்,
நருசிம்ஹோ மே திருசு பாத்து லோக ரக்ஷனத்மா சம்பவ.
8. சர்வகோ அபி ச்தம்பா வாச ப்ஹலம் மே ரக்ஷது ட்வநிம்,
நருசிம்ஹோ மே திருசு பாத்து சோம சுர்யஅக்னி லோச்சனா.
9. ச்ம்ருதிம் மே பாத்து நருஹரிர் முனி வர்யா ச்துதிப்ரிய,
நாசாம் மே சிம்கனசாது, முக்ஹம் லக்ஷ்மி முக்ஹா பிரியா.
10. சர்வ வித்யதிப பாத்து நருசிம்ஹோ ரசனாம் மாமா,
வக்த்ரம் பாத்து இந்து வதனா சட ப்ரகுலட வந்தித.
11. நருசிம்ஹா பாத்து மே கண்டம், ஸ்கந்ட்ஹௌ ப்ஹூ பாரனந்த கருத்,
திவ்யச்த்ரா சோபித புஜோ நருசிம்ஹா பாத்து மே ப்ஹுஜௌ.

ஹ்ருதயம் யோகி சட்ஷ்யச்ச்ச, நிவாசம் பாத்து மே ஹரி.
13. மத்யம் பாத்து ஹிரண்யாக்ஷ, வக்ஷ குக்ஷி விடரனா,
நபீம் மே பாத்து நருஹாரி, சவ நபிய் பிரம்மா சம்ச்துதா.
14. பிரம்மாண்ட கோட்டை கடாம் யஸ்யஸௌ பாத்து மே கடும்,
குஹ்யம் மே பதூ குஹ்யனாம் மந்த்ரானாம் குஹ்ய ரூப திருக்.
15. ஊரு மனோபாவ பாத்து ஜக்நுனி நர ரூப திருக்,
சங்கே பாத்து தரா பார ஹர்த்தா யோ அச ஔ நருகேசரி.
16. சுறா ராஜ்ய பரத பாத்து பது மே நருஹறேச்வர,
சஹாச்ற சீர்ஷா புருஷ பாத்து மே சர்வ சாஸ் தானும்.
17. மகோக்ரா பூர்வத பாத்து மஹா வீரக்ராஜோ அக்னித,
மஹா விஷ்ணு தக்ஷிணே து மஹா ஜ்வலச்து நைர்யாதி.
18. பச்சிமே பாத்து சர்வேசோ, டிசி மே சர்வதோ முக்ஹா,
நருசிம்ஹா பாத்து வயவ்யாம், ஸௌம்யம் போஒஷன விக்ராஹா.
19. ஈஷன்யோ பாத்து பாத்ரோ மே, சரவ மங்கள தாக,
சமசர பாயாத பாத்து ம்ருத்யோர் ம்ருத்யுஸ் நருகேசரி.
20. இதம் நருசிம்ஹா கவசம், ப்ரகுலதா முக்ஹா மன்டிதம்,
பாதிமன் யா பேடன் நித்யம் சர்வ பாபம் ப்ருமுச்யதே.
21. புத்றவன், தானவன் லோகே தீர்க்க ஆயுர் உப ஜெயதே,
யாம் யாம் கமயதே காமம் தம் தம் ப்ரப்நோன்ச்த்யசம்சயம்.
22. சர்வத்ர ஜெயம் ஆப்நோதி, ஸ்ரவாத்ரா விஜயீ பவேத்,
பிஹோம்யந்தரீக்ஷ திவ்யானாம் க்ரகுஆனாம் வினி வாரணம்.
23. வ்ருச்சிகோ ரக சம்பிஊதா விஷ அப ஹரணம் பரம்,
பிரம்மா ராக்ஷச யக்ஷானாம் தூரோத்சாறன கரணம்.
24. புர்ஜே வா தல பதரே வா கவசம் லிக்ஹிதம் சுபம்,
கர மூலே திருத்தம் என சிதஎயு கர்ம சிதையே.
25. தேவாசுர மனுஷஎஷு சவம் ச்வமேவ ஜெயம் லபிஎத்,
ஏக சந்த்யம் ற்றிசந்த்யம் வா யா பேடன் நியதோ நர.
26. சர்வ மங்கள மாங்கல்யம், புத்திம், முய்க்திம் ச விண்டதி,
ட்வத்ரிம்சாத் சஹாச்ரணி படத் ஷுதத்மனாம் நருனாம்.
27. கவச்சயச்ய மந்த்ரஷ்ய மந்திர சிதி ப்ரஜயதே,
ஆனேன மந்திர ராஜென க்ருத்வா பாஸ் மபிய் மந்த்ரணம்.
28. திலகம் வின்யசெத் யஸ்து தஸ்ய கிரகாம் பயம் ஹரேத்,
திரிவரே ஜபமனச்து தத்தம் வரிபிய மந்த்ரா ச.
29. பிரசஎத்யோ நரோ மன்றம், நருசிம்ஹா த்யனமச்சறேத்,
தஸ்ய ரோக ப்ரணச்யந்தி எ ச சயு குக்ஷி சம்பாவா.
30. கிமாத்ரா பஹு நோக்தென நருசிம்ஹா சட்ருசோ பவேத்,
மனச சிந்திதம் யது ச தச்சப்நோத்ய சம்சயம்.
31. கர்ஜந்தம் கர்ஜயந்தம் நிஜ பூஜா படலம் ச்போடயந்தம் ஹடந்தம்,
ரூப்யந்தம் தபயந்தம் திவி புவி திதிஜம் க்ஷோபயந்தம் க்ஷிபந்தம்,
கிரந்தந்தம் ரோஷயந்தம் டிசி டிசி சத்தம் சம்ஹரந்தம் பாரந்தம்,
விக்ஷந்தம் க்ஹூர்ணயந்தம் சாரா நிகர சதிர் திவ்ய சிம்ஹம் நமாமி.

Bhhomyanthareeksha divyaanaam grahaanaam vini varanam.
23. Vruschiko raga sambhootha visha apa haranam param,
Brahma Rakshasa yakshaanaam dhoorothsaarana karanam.
24. Bhurje vaa thala pathre vaa kavacham likhitham shubham,
Kara moole drutham yena sidhyeyu karma sidhaye.
25. Devasura manushyeshu swam swameva jayam labheth,
Yeka sandhyam trisandhyam vaa ya paden niyatho nara.
26. Sarva mangala mangalyam, bhuthim, muykthim cha vindathi,
Dwathrimsad sahasrani padeth shudhatmanaam nrunaam.
27. Kavachayasya manthrasya manthra sidhi prajayathe,
Anena manthra rajena kruthwa bhas mabhi manthranam.
28. Thilakam vinyased yasthu thasya graham bhayam hareth,
Trivare japamanasthu datham varibhya manthrya cha.
29. Prasayedhyo naro mantram, nrusimha dhyanamacharedh,
Thasya roga pranasyanthi ye cha syu kukshi sambhavaa.
30. Kimathra bahu nokthena nrusimha sadruso bhaveth,
Manasa chinthitham yathu sa thachapnothya samsayam.
31. Garjantham garjayantham nija bhuja patalam sphotayantham hatantham,
Roopyantham thapayantham dhivi bhuvi dhithijam kshopayantham kshipantham,
Kranthantham roshayantham disi disi sathatham samharantham bharantham,
Vikshantham ghoornayantham sara nikara sathair divya simham namami.

Which protects everything that is blessed and destroys all problems.
2. It gives all sorts of wealth and grants heaven as well as salvaion,
If it is chanted meditating on Narasimha as sitting on the throne.
3. He has three eyes, keeps his mouth open and has the glow of autumn moon,
And he is hugged on left side by Lakshmi and his form depends on his glowing power.
4. He has four hands, he has pretty limbs and wears a golden ear stud,
His chest shines like a lotus flower and he wears gem studded bracelet.
5. He resembles molten gold and wears yellow cloths,
He shines in the light of rubies on his head of the saluting Indra and other devas.
6. He shines with two feet and holds the conch and wheel in his hand,
And Lord Garuda with humility offers him prayers with devotion.
7. If one reads this armour after make, Lord Narasimha,
Who protects the world, Occupy the lotus of his mind
The Lord who is born to take care of this world will protect his head.
8. Let my forehead be protected by the all pervading one who is in the pillar,
Let my sound be protected by Narasimha and
My eyes be protected by he who has sun, moon and fire as eyes.
9. Let my memory be protected by Narasimha who likes prayers from great sages,
Let my nose be protected by he who has a lion’s nose,
And let my mouth be protected by he who loves the mouth of Lakshmi.
10. Let my taste buds be protected by the Lord of all knowledge, Narasima,
Lat my face be protected by the moon faced one saluted by Prahladha.
11. Let my neck be protected by Narasimha,
And shoulders by him, who till the end, rules over the world,
And let that Narasimha whose arms shine,
With divine weapons protect my arms.
12. Let my hands be protected by the protector of devas,
Let me be protected from all sides by Lord Narasimha,
Let my heart be protected by him who can be approached by great sages,
And let my house be protected by Lord Hari.
13. Let my middle be protected by the God
Who tore apart chest and abdomen of Hiranyaksha,
Let my navel be protected by Lord Narasimha,
Who is praised by Brahma, who sprang from his own navel.
14. Let my hip be protected by him,
On whose hips all the universe rests,
Let my private parts be protected by the mysterious one,
Who can only be seen by use of very secret mantras.
15. Let my thighs be protected by one who happens in the mind,
Let my knees be protected by him who has a human form,
Let my calves be protected by him who lightens my load,
And appears in the form of a combination of man and lion.
16. Let my feet be protected by the God in the man lion form,
Who looks after the kingdom of all devas,
And let my entire body be protected by the God,
Who has one thousand heads.
17. Let the ferocious one protect me from the east,
Let the very valorous one protect from south east,
Let the great Vishnu protect me from the south,
And let God who blazes like a flame protect from south west.
18. Let God of everything protect me from west,
Let the God who has faces everywhere protect all directions,
Let Narasimha protect me from north west,
And let the well ornamented one protect me from north.
19. Let the God who protects and gives all things auspicious,
Protect me from the north west and let me protected,
From fear of birth and death by the Lord Narasimha,
Who is indeed death to death itself.
20. This armour of Lord Narasimha which was narrated by Prahladha,
If read by a devotee daily, would save him from all his sins.
21. He would be blessed with sons, wealth and a very long life,
And all that he desires would be achieved without any doubt.
22. He who desires for victory everywhere would get victory everywhere,
He would ward off all the evils caused by earth, environment and planets.
23. This steals away the poison caused by serpents and scorpions,
And Brahma Rakshasas and Yakshas would be driven far- far away.
24. If this auspicious armour is written on a palm leaf or bark of a tree, ,
And this is worn in the hand all his actions would be come divine.
25. That man who reads it following all rules, three times,
In the dawn, noon or dusk or one of these times,
Would get victory over humans, devas and Asuras.
26. That holy and pure human being who reads it,
Thirty two thousand times would definitely get,
All auspicious things, wealth and salvation.
27. If this is chanted along with wearing of ashes, by the help of this,
Mantra of the Kavacha which is the king of mantras, he would get mastery over it.
28. By wearing a Tilaka and after doing Aachamana with mantras,
If this is chanted for three weeks, , the fear of planets would be removed for him.
29. After meditating on Lord Narasinmha, if a man,
Masters this mantra his diseases would be cured,
Including those diseases of the abdomen.
30. Which other great one can ever become like Narasimha,
For just thinking about him in mind would make him your own without doubt.
31. He roars and makes us roar, He with his many arms tears and throws them out,
He searches and troubles the sons of Dhithi in this and other worlds,
Throws them and scatters them and when angry he kills them from all directions,
And when he sees them he tears them apart with his hundreds of divine hands,
And I salute him who has manifested himself as a divine lion.
Thus ends the armour of Narasimha told by Prahlada found in Brahmanda Purana.
